Yes, you could, but like I said in the thread, it's best to stay true to the challenge as much as humanly posible. If you lose all but one pokemon at the gym, then keep truckin' since you haven't lost yet.

Ehh, really the best tip I can give for Nuzlocking is to always play it as safe as realisticly possible. Grind a little more than you think you need to and don't take outlandish risks. Things will still die but doing those things means fewer deathes more often than not. Oh, also get lucky. :p

Platinum is actually a good game to Nuzlocke. Lots of strong pokes you can get early on and such. Imo, a little easier than other games too in some areas.

Yeah, diffidently grind karp up to Gyarados before you go doing too much farther. He's a real help to any nuzlocker. Golbat is also surprisingly good.
