It's interesting to know you're a new-age philosopher! I've been looking into some aspects of the New Age movement, more specifically NDEs and Past life Recall. While I don't agree with many conclusions of the movement (I don't think the movement is monolithic, though), I think they've done the world a service by opening up the lid on the plausibility of non-physical events. I'm not a dogmatic anti-materialist, but I think these are important issues that needs to be brought on the discussion table.

There is still a long way before these get acknowledged by the philosophy/science academia, though, which is steeped in naturalism.

I don't know much about the movement, so you'd have to forgive any mistakes I've made above!

Well, for me a personal rebellion is enough. The choice to walk my own way, heedless of the social norm. I make choices that I know are right, whether they're right for somebody else or not. It's not about anarchy, it's about walking the path you choose. And for me, that path is my own.

Technology and I have a bit of a strange relationship. . . I'm really back and forth about it, to be honest. I don't think I could live in an automated world, or even steampunk, for that matter.

Hah, dreaming is the only thing that keeps us sane. Dream on, I say. But don't forget to strive towards the picture in your head. If it stays an illusion then it loses it's meaning.

Naw, it's girl I knew my Freshman year of high school. I came really close to dating her, and I asked her out to my battalion's military ball and she went with me against her boyfriend's wishes. She was a really nice and caring girl who had the sense to sit me down gently when I told her that I loved her.

It never really was strictly about looks with her, though. She was vastly intelligent and read me like a book. She had the sense not to abuse my submissiveness to her, either.

Nightcore, some Dupstep, Symphonic Metal, Pop Rock, Synth Rock, Hip Hop, Rap, Pop, New Age, and Experimental.

Pop Rock actually is a rather large genre, it just doesn't have a whole lot of very popular bands. Like, Paramore, and Weezer have both done some Pop Rock, for example. Less known bands would be more like Ludo, or Freelance Whales.
