  • I doubt I'm anywhere close. XD;

    But I'm too lazy to compare what I have with what I still need, since I have my rares & foils sorted by type, and most of my commons are in boxes. D;
    Afterburner and Roast Reveal are crazy together... but most people I know just run them together for fun. Which reminds me... I should try building one of those since I've now got 4 Typhlosion Prime. (b'-')b Now I just need Ninetales and Magmortar. Or some Blaze FB. (b'-')b
    Well, I know a lot of people who don't play their tourney decks at league, so league isn't really the best place to study the meta.

    Cursegar? 'Cause that can be countered with a very quick SP (more specifically, Luxchomp).
    Meta's mostly SP-oriented, right? So figure out which SP decks you saw a lot of and research their counters. (b'-')b
    Oh, wait... never mind. US Nationals aren't invite only. I just remembered a little anecdote that I overheard one of the judges at States telling one of the other judges. XD
    Nah... a "new" car is more important to me than Nationals. And Nationals is invite-only iirc, and is roughly 8 hours further than my regionals were.
    Sorta... mostly a monetary break, since the nearest place with a league is an hour away. I will probably go to the Unleashed Prerelease because the Blastoise promo for that is going to be awesome.
    Yeah... it would've been a 6 hour drive, and a hotel room would've cost a fair bit. And the people I was intending to go with decided to take a break from the game for a bit. They were burned out.
    Well, to get invited to Nationals, you have to have a good enough rating or win a States/Provinces or win Regionals (maybe you can get in for winning a Cities, but I doubt it, since there are so many of those).
    Well, I've only ever been to MN States ('09, '10) a weekly tournament at my home hobby shop, and League at my home hobby shop. I do want to make Battle Roads, but I can't find the Spring BR schedule anywhere. :(

    Of course, I live an hour from the nearest hobby shops that have Pokemon events, so it's always a trek to make it.
    Haven't yet. Games play crazy fast here.Look at Blastoise's attacks. And look at Delcatty's first attack. And that's why Nidoqueen is in, too. 1 damage counter between each turn (my turn-remove damage counter-opp. turn-remove damage counter-my turn).

    Nidoqueen can also do 40 for 1, and up to 110 for 3.
    Platinum Blastoise and Platinum Delcatty are at the core. Rising Rivals Nidoqueen helps out quite a bit, too. Power Circulation + Dig Well is a good restocking method. (b'-')b
    I don't have a Wailord deck, but I did come across the Wailord for it in a pack and swapped it with the area trader along with a couple other cards to ramp up my BlastCatty for States last week. I like the challenge of facing it. What do you normally run?
    Flygon's dominating your metagame? People only use it for fun at my league. LuxChomp won in MN.
    whats that, i might add. Since i created it. And thanks i appreciate very much.
