I loved the Old Chateau, mainly because I am a fan of creepy things generally. The music was amazing and the undoubtedly the scariest in the series; it makes Lavender Town sound like a lullaby. I also loved that they used the same music for Turnback Cave.
I agree with the other posts; I do wish...
I love so many Gen 2 Pokémon that it's difficult for me to choose. Ampharos, Kingdra and Skarmory are up there.
Least favourite? Miltank. For obvious reasons.
Seriously. Kanto comes a close second; well actually I would place them both together but Kanto wins slightly because of nostalgic reasons.
There's just something about Johto I find really drab. I like Ecruteak City, the towers, the stories, etc. but to be honest the whole region is so pants...
I have yet to find a Pok?mon I hate more than Emolga. I don't majorly dislike any Gen 6 Pok?mon, but if I had to choose it'd probably be Espurr. Something about it just annoys me. (I'm not keen on feline Pok?mon).
N by far, but I also have a bit of a thing for Grimsley. It's the design of his character and the whole gambling thing. Plus he trains Dark-types, one of my favourites.
I love Alder's character, shame his team was a bit pants...
Before I get laughed at, please, hear me out here.
I generally find that the first Gym battle is the most difficult one. You have very limited Pokemon for a start. The nearby Pokemon are extremely weak so grinding becomes a major issue unless you have the patience of a saint. And more often...
My main problem with Diamond and Pearl was how sluggish it was and the very limited Pokémon. I mean you literally only had a choice between Ponyta and Infernape for a fire-type, unless you traded anything over. Post-game wasn't too bad but it sort of became pointless once you'd done Stark...
I'm playing HeartGold and my team is currently: Quilava, Lucario, Horsea, Haunter, Golbat and Magnemite. Bit different to what I usually have but I really fancied trying out a Crobat this time round as I ain't had one before.
In my very first playthrough of Gold he scared the bejebus out of me when I saw his Lv81 Pikachu.
Now he's kinda overrated.
I like the whole concept of him being silent on top of Mt. Silver though. I've read theories where people think he's actually a ghost.
The last time I used Empoleon who retalitated with Avalanche which got most of its HP down but then it Sitrused Berry'd and knocked out Empoleon with Earthquake.
So I sent out Arcanine which managed to hold onto about 3HP after being hit by Earthquake and Arcanine used Dragon Pulse which...
Does anyone find these games the creepiest out of the series?
I found another thread on the internet where the person pretty much stated the same thing. I don't know what it is about Diamond and Pearl but I find these games the most unnerving out of all the Pokemon games. It's something to do...
Precisely the reason I always trade Pokémon over from HeartGold whenever I'm having a playthrough of Diamond. It might be cheating a little but I couldn't care less; I get SO bored with Ponyta, Ponyta, Ponyta, Luxray, Luxray, Luxray as the only viable Fire and Electric-type Pokémon I can have.
I used to be weirdly obsessed with Wallace when I was younger. Fan-girl maybe? :P
Now... not so much. His outfit in ORAS is awful.
Anyway I liked most of the gym leaders :) I found Norman extremely difficult to beat and would always dread battling him. Some were more boring and forgettable...
I remember really struggling to get to Fuchsia City for some reason, so when I finally got there I could've cried tears of joy :P
Catching Articuno and showing off about it in school the next day (I was like 8 haha).
When I FINALLY GOT THE CARD KEY IN SILPH CO.
Solving the guards' 'thirsty'...
