  • Ehh...self-mill might be going a bit overboard. It's still a continuous spell card like any other, and can be blown off the field with a plethora of effects. It's also contradictory to the legend the card is representing (the Horai Elixir cures all illnesses, grants eternal life, and even has the power to revive the dead, though the last use is excluded from the card for obvious reasons; milling yourself seems more like shortening your lifespan than lengthening it) not to mention that if we want to talk crazy setup potential, Lightsworn is drooling at that notion. Free Wulf/Necro Gardna/Plaguespreader/Lumina target dump? Free raising of the Lightsworn count to set up Judgment Dragon and assurance that you'll have the LP you need to use its effect? Umm...yeah. Crumbling Tower wouldn't particularly appreciate having such a card in their lineup anyway, as drawing into any specific card is precisely the weakpoint of that archetype. I know; it took me ten freaking turns of stall to dig into the Lightning Vortex I needed to seal my game. :x
Hurr...I shee's and I do think it was missing a little something for the balance. I was thinking negate all other spell and trap cards you have (because that way, stuff like secret village is also out), but a monster limiter actually sounds neater. Maybe...no special summons? That would slow the beatdown side quite a bit and prevent any synchro madness or the like from ensuing.

    Hurr...off to rebalance am I.
Well obviously. You should have used the perfect combustion of a man's soul and you forgot to go 'what the hell'. *smacks* You've got to do it with heart, boy! HEART! >O

Also, is my little LP gain card in YMtC horribly, horribly wrong? I've always thought that the perfect deck to represent a megalomanic villain would be one centered around eternal life, so I may want to bring that little number out to play sometime. <3
I think they need a wake-up call at the very least. When you're just barely scraping in to begin with, you should at least have the courtesy to be active. >|

Though last I checked, Chelsea has just flat out vanished from the forums so she may well have external reasons. *shrug* Oh well, a reminder in that direction won't hurt. It's kind of silly how the only two who came in with a warning of potential low activity have been the most active.

And that's unmanly of you, Thesi. A REAL man would stand and fight Kamina man-to-man. In MANLY fashion. >O
Ah, then six must have been the one where my computer effed up in the middle and killed my streak. I distinctly recall a hot spring from that one, which fits the descrip.

And I knew Kamina was a pedo! I KNEW IT! Ish him and the little undergrounder kids, amirite? Course I'm right. I'm always right. Though seriously, with Yoko around not an episode goes by without at least some fanservice. XD

    And soon ish no faaaair...not now when I finally get to play Haruko as her mental, sugary sweet, card playing, kind-of-a-shadow-duelist-but-still-not self. You're doing this on purpose, you cruel, cold-hearted person you. ;3;
Well, I've watched Tengen Toppa Guren Lagann for a few episodes (last I watched was the cult of the humongous mecha thing, I think it was eppy six or seven) and it's been great fun thus far. Much <3 for the luffable person who uploaded episodes one through twenty-seven as fansubbed originals.

Oh, and now that you know that I'm watching?

DON'T YOU DARE SPOIL OR I'LL WHO-THE-HELL-DO-YOU-THINK-I-AM KICK YOUR BUTT TO THE NEXT CENTURY!

    That is all. :3

Now go and post in CARD GAMES. I command you. Thy input has been sorely missed. D:
    YES I KNOW

    BUT THAT REQUIRES WORK

    I DO NOT DO WORK

    o3o PLUS

I am trying to finish KAISER CUP Post

    AND

    Alter bloody inspired me. ;3;
    OH I FOUNDED YOU

    GUESS WUT

    I'M NOT SICK NO MORE

    o_o

    So

I'm posting for KAISER. xD -giggles-
    Oho~! Good eye.

And it's most definitely not coincidence. Under the fabled name of an artist I can't remember, he produced a whole range of Touhou characters in TTGL-esque cutscene snapshots. Quite fortunate really, since they're both beloved series of mine. |3
Well, I've finished Twilight, but I'm too tired to talk about how much I hated it, so I'll just get to the second part of this message:

Do you think it's necessary that I the Ender Quartet before reading the Bean Quartet? I was chatting with Asty and she told me that the first four books and the last four (not ing including Exile) have different enough plots to be considered two different series. She also told me that Ender's Shadow is more action-orientated, which is what I'm looking for. But I did some research and lots of people have said that one should at the very least read Ender's Game before starting Ender's Shadow. So, what's your opinion on this matter?
I REALLY wish you sent that to me a day ago...

My dad offered to take me to the book store earlier than I expected so I had to make my decision in the car. It was there that I realized I did no research on the Ender books and had no idea what any of them were called. Too make things worse, as soon as I walk into Barnes' and Nobles, I see the entire Twilight series lined up and on sale. I bought it and now that I'm on Chapter Five, I'm beginning to regret my choice. Absolutely NOTHING has happened. If I hadn't read the blurb, I'd have no idea anyone was a vampire. I should have known better than ask a bunch of Edward-obsessed freshmen if Twilight was really a good book. Let's just hope it gets better.
Haha, dub and the real thing are two quite distinct entities as far as I can tell. (watching subbed original, obviously <3) In original it's all sake, innuendos, inappropriate behavior, and royal inbreeding, yes indeedy. XD But...tea? Ogawd, that must be some very funny tea to account for that one time when Royko and Ayeka get really smashed and start taking the piss out of each other. (Haha, weepy Ryoko and biatch Ayeka; I think that's the only time the latter ever wins an argument between the two XD)

And yeah, I've heard it's something of an insanity-style anime, so...should be interesting, at the very least. :3
O yes, the one and the same. Subverted with willful malice to taint my glorious legacy. >[

And that series...nah, only know it by reputation, but the animation looks good so I'll give it a try someday. Before that, however, I'll have to finish mine with the Tenchi Muyo OVA. Haha, awesome old anime. Don't be surprised if a temp. theme built on it pops up either here or on Janime one of these days. <3

On that note, I should finish my card game over there. XD
Why yes, slow-start days are indeed perfect for spamming up VMs. So here,

    HAVE SOME SPAM

I'm still looking for the translation, but it's a nice, upbeat song and based on the stage theme of my designated touhou character too, so I'm liking. <3

And yeah, I was thinking something on the lines of contests too. Biggest hitch that I and Digi could find was that it would probably end up with mostly regulars participating (Like, you know, card game tournament of four xD) but it's certainly an idea to keep in mind. Perhaps something along the lines of Janime's fakie idea contest thing could also work, since YMtC is the most active place in the section anyway. Or heck, deck-making contest (Like, give some completely absurd/neglected card - or perhaps an anime character or deck theme - and have the contestants build a deck around it) could also go, but again...this all comes down to getting peoples interested. :x

And of course, we'd have to figure out a reward besides just MAD RESPECT YO. But that's the smallest problem, really. :3
Oh, I do agree...Frostyman to the rescue! *Shot* What ever happened to him, anyway? I can't help wondering. o.O

And yeah...importing activity from another forum is not really a permanent solution. We need some way to genuinely make the section more attractive to people. :x Well, can I take this as you being interested in joining into the discussion when we get it together, at least? Even if you don't have any definite ideas of your own to offer yet, having an extra viewpoint to the discussion is never wrong.
Touhou is all well and good as parties go, but personally I have always been a supporter of KirisaneMargatroid, and so I am in the deep conflict of party versus persons. HakureiYakumo has displayed a very vague line on the budget issue and has some morally questionable views on the issue of armpits and indecent exposure that do not sit well with me.

But yes, at the end of the day I suppose I must simply support party power and hope that my favored candidates will do better in the next elections. Touhou for pres! :3

Oh, and since I can't IM pester you about it? Digi-kun kind of talked with me and I kind of took it on me to talk with the OC regulars about this, so. Other Cards, as I'm sure you're well aware, is quite frightfully low on activity, so we've been brainstorming for ideas to change that. Any thoughts on your end?
O come now, IMing is only a on-the-side sort of thing; it's not like it will actually eat up any more of your-

*stares at record of three-hour plus MSN convos*

...oookay, never mind that one. XD It's really fun, though, and allows for conversation far more thorough than delayed response stuff like VMs and PMs, though I guess me denting other people's night sleep is technically a bad thing, but hey: they're not complaining. XD

Anyways, MSN live works well for IMing when/if you do get one; completely free too and the only bad thing I've noticed is the start-up ads, but there's really no reasonable way of evading those on any of them. :<

Also, that's...definitely not cool about the hostage laptop. If you're paying the bills, you should decide the use too. Even if they're doing it out of luff, that's not fairplay at all. :\

In other news, presenting...the bestest idea for an action figure ever. I'm not religious myself, obviously, but even if I was I don't see myself being appealed to by this particular concept. Prolly a fake, but even so I could really picture someone going for it, which is a rather scary thought.
Hurr...it's been a while since I've done this, so...

    VM SPAM FTW! =D

Oh, and just as an FYI? I may end up doing a brief bunnying stint with Kano in the OTHER CARD GAMES on a forum far far away. Mika has this medical condition thing, so she may end up having to stay in hospital for a few days to get it sorted out. Whether or not this will be necessary is still undecided, but I thought I'd let you know now so I don't have to explain it later. Plus, it gave me an excuse to bug you again. You need more IMing, good sir. >|
Oh, no worries, no worries, I completely support Phani's need for an appropriate setting. :3

Also, seeing as how this Noxus guy has posted his profile, will we be starting now then? Huuuh? =D *Hyperactive prodage*

    ...

...I blame the touhou games, that's all I'll say. Touhou games! Grazing all those bullets...does things, m'yes. :3
