Sorry my latest CARD GAMES post is so lame, by the way; not very conductive situation for my writing. D:

...That's...kind of disappointing. I thought that you would have been up to par on WC08 seeing as it's been about five months since you reset. Then again, I've yet to do everything I wanted to in the original Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon, so I guess I'm not one to point a finger here.

Drop me a note when you can start dueling again, please. I have an odd little toy that I'd like to play with against an opponent not run by AI.

I know Game rather well. (Chapter eight is one of my favorite chapters.) XD Going through it again before the new book comes out. Though Speaker will always be my favorite.

Wouldn't that be kind of...anachronistic, though? x.O Since, you know, the dark signers wouldn't make any bigger moves until their light counterparts do? Dark synchros are fun, but you don't really need to involve the entire signer business to make use of them, you know; at least twenty-five percent of our cast (possibly fifty) would be left in the dark about what the heck we're going on about. XD

Wut? We've got dark signers around too now? XD Or do you just mean a 'possessed by an ebil power that makes games like shadow games except no soul loss and stuff' sort of thing?

And yeah, when you get this type of intuitive reaction it's usually good to go with it. (Besides, FF VI rawks XD) But wow, just wow...looks like Tacey will have to do some adjusting before she'll get used to this one. Achan was, like, her one beacon of normalcy in a world gone madde, so finding out that he's an artificial being and stuff is not going to improve her mood, I'd wager. Preliminary bet is that Achan's last prediction is spot-on, but I'll have to see how it turns out when I actually write it, because Achan is being all 'sowwee ;0;' and Tacey tends to go all soft about that. XD

And I agree, the pointy-haired security guard is made of win, especially as a villain. <3 And hey, it's never stated that he's going for a shadow game specifically, so you could keep him around if you want. XD

But of course; the rolling of heads is ALWAYS satisfying. As is RANTING IN ALL CAPS. Though really, Achan should have been number 'VII' to further spin on the FF references. XD

Oh, and after much meddling with obscure game mechanics and stuff, I think I have finally come up with a deck theme that's just right and a character go with it. <3 (Ironically, it's the first fake set I posted on Janime that ended up really striking my fancy o.O) SO, you'd better have that very special RP up by the designated date, ya' hear? XD

AND HEADS HAVE ROLLED! MORE WILL ROLL STILL NOW THAT CURERU IS NOT STEALING TACEY'S THUNDER!

Anyway, I hope that post was...satisfactory? And you probably understand why I decided to split it into two parts too. XD

But yeah, subplot wrapped up and done on my part. I still have a few odds and ends (namely, Angelo and Serge) to sort out down the road, but for now the stage is yours. :3

Oh, there will be surprises, alright. How many...that will depend, so for now, I shall neither confirm nor deny your suspicions. I'll say this much, though: the deck is something I actually made a vague allusion to waaaay back in the RP. ;D

And I'm actually looking forward to writing the next post too, as it will provide some much-needed closure for a number of things that have been bugging and will feature my brand spanking new royals to boot. <3 It's going to be huge, though, and it's getting late here, so I probably won't get it posted until tomorrow.

...and gawd is Achan going to get an earful for not immediately spotting the fake when Tacey has cleared this up. Well, once she's done freaking out over his body swap anyway. O yes, HEADS WILL ROLL! XD

Surely a shadow duelist wouldn't go through all of this trouble just to get a slew of rare cards? And what will Tacey play, robbed of her signature cards? Will she stand a chance?
