I was banned because nobody understood my point of view, and so just dismissed it as illogical, inflammatory and fallacious. If I'm gonna get along with anyone here, they gotta be open to stuff.
The mod on the thread eventually just infracted me for spam, which makes no sense as what I was saying was relevant - just nobody was open-minded enough to accept it.
I also don't see how correcting the mod's misinterpretation of my argument was being disrespectful. It's not my fault if they didn't understand what I was on about.
I'd also like to point out the way the mod in question demonised me a bit - the way they interpreted (incorrectly) my arguments made me seem like a right dickhead. For example, they took my "people getting upset over a game is a bit questionable" to mean "people who follow smogon tiers make questionable life choices."
They villianised me, unjustly. I'm not making excuses because frankly I don't give a damn, but my main point is, my ban was based on one of the mods misunderstanding and then villianising me.
If all mods behave like this, how many other unfounded bans might there have been?
That's all I have to say. Take it into account.
