5th Gen If the Follow Me feature had returned...

Wailord, man. It'd be like guiding a blimp around on a string.

3rd Gen Ruby Sapphire or Emerald

Ruby. If I remember correctly it was the first Pokemon game I ever bought. I prefer Emerald because of the additional content, but I've never bothered to buy it. Playing it through on my ex's copy was good enough. (Though I took some flak for deleting her game. She got over it. Eventually...

    3rd Gen The Regis?

Registeel. I've had the most success using it on my teams (though admittedly I don't use legendaries very often). That said, I'm not a huge fan of any of the Regis - they all look a little bland compared to most other pokemon.

4th Gen Love and Hate: Johto Gym Leaders

Falkner - I want his armbands Bugsy - I want his tie Whitney - Danged crybaby Morty - Nice scarf Jasmine - Surely you can fetch your own medicine Chuck - Wake up ya lazy bum Pryce - Ice puzzles are the work of the devil Clair - What a sore loser As far as gym leaders go they're all...

    3rd Gen Hoenn Gym Leaders

It's a tie between Flannery and Norman. I like the contrast between Flannery's casual outfit and her wild 'do, and Norman proves that normal-type pokemon can smack you around pretty danged well if they feel like it.

    1st Gen Worst Johto Pokemon

Agreed on Unown. Terrrrible pokemon. I only ever use / used the Ruins of Alph to get a Natu. The whole alphabet thing that fits into its lore doesn't strike me as terribly interesting, either.

1st Gen Favorite Pokemon Red/Blue Starter Pokemon?

Though Charmander's my favourite in terms of style and eventual evolution, I usually choose Squirtle. I'm not a massive fan of a lot of the other Gen 1 water-types, whereas I like most of the fire-types.

6th Gen When did you give up?

After finishing the Delta Episode. I'm not a completionist, either, and I don't feel the need to capture and train every pokemon to perfection. Did that for the third generation, just once, and it took long enough that I don't have the desire to go to such extremes again. I'd rather do shorter...

Same-Sex Marriage Is Now Legal in the USA

I'm all for it, and I'm glad it happened. Let's just hope it doesn't get repealed. I imagine gay marriage will face some rather stiff political competition in the days to come.

This Generation - The Lack of a Meaningful Difference

I'm increasingly meh on purchasing new consoles. Some of the exclusives are neat - I love Mario Kart 8, for example - but I'm increasingly content with playing the little indie gems that pop up on Steam constantly. They're much cheaper, they don't tax the devil out of my computer, and they're...

    5th Gen Alder or Iris?

I preferred Alder as champion overall, but the battle against Iris felt more epic. To me, anyway. Must be all those dragons.

4th Gen If you had to choose one Pokémon...

A Drapion. Love those accordion arms.

    3rd Gen Starter Pokémon

Treecko's my favourite, but only as far as style goes. I prefer Mudkip and Torchic in terms of combat capabilities.
  14. S

6th Gen Are you a boy or are you a girl?

Female, but I swap just about every time I play a Pokemon game, regardless of the generation. The only exception is 3rd gen on the older games, 'cause it amuses me to think that I'm running around as a tiny old man rather than a kid in a white cap.

    The Most Annoying Pokemon?

Magikarp. Because whenever I get into a trainer battle against one, I know there are probably gonna be five more, and they'll all offer terrible experience. Stupid fishermen.
