I think it's really hard doing 8-bit sprites... I bothers me that it requires you to not use so much black outlines :D

Hrm... I don't really see any evidence of the light source on back sprites being from the direction of the opponent. Especially not when looking at the Pokemon.

I COULD take this opportunity to plug my own small forum, but it'd probably be more of the same for you. I recently joined TSR too, but I didn't get much (read: any) crit. Serves me right for posting uncrittable tiles, I guess. Where do I begin?

That sounds like more than enough, actually =P ...I made a thread a while ago, though, and it gathered only a few replies, oddly-- perhaps it was in the presentation. People like being able to either correct obvious errors or revere your work-- if it's somewhere in between those extremes, it's harder to attract attention.

Ah, but that's it, isn't it! The animation's such that, once I've saved a fully animated version, I can't go back and edit it without waaay more work than it's worth. :/ It's a shame; I shoulda bought the premium version so I could save animated Gifs.
