  • I hardly even associated the original with A Pup Named Scooby Doo, it kind of just seemed like a show on its own. To my memory it had pretty clever dialogue, then again I have the memory of your average eighty year old. I'm not even sure where I am right now.

I don't even know, to be honest. I'm assuming it's art history, which would be cool to learn about. I'm hoping by taking it I become more versed in art interpretation, that was my main focus when selecting it.
No, The New Scooby Doo Movies was a separate show featuring celebrity guest stars, like Don Knotts and I forget who else. It's played more often on Boomerang than the original series these days, for some reason. But I know what you're talking about, I remember those pirate-zombie things, those were pretty freaky for a movie aimed at kids. What I really can't stand is The New Adventures of Scooby Doo, they may have cancelled it, but it aired on CN for awhile and it was so awkward hearing a replacement Velma and a subpar Shaggy. I did actually enjoy A Pup Named Scooby Doo, though.

Hmm, I wonder if that would have been available to me a couple summers ago. o3o Oh well. I'm taking a course in Art Appreciation in January, should be interesting.
I think it was from The New Scooby Doo Movies, because I have never seen that ghost before, and I know for a fact that I have seen every episode of the original series. =3= How curious. But anyways~

I am so jealous of you for having taken a course in film photog, we didn't have those kind of opportunities where I lived. Our high school electives were cooking class, general art, choir, and band. :c Small school, not a lot of paths you could take. And stupid me decided I'd take art senior year instead of all throughout high school. I'll never forgive myself. But that's pretty neat, I've always wanted to see what a dark room was like. I'm sure it's not like the wardrobe that leads you to Narnia or anything, but it does seem delightful to play with chemicals and stuff.
Ooh that's creative! I wonder if anyone here would catch the Banksy reference, surely the London-ers would recognize it (isn't that where he's from?). I guess if someone didn't and was curious to understand you could be the one to introduce them to the infamous Banksy, which I think is a pretty honorable responsibility. Hahaha, that's hilarious. (hence the laughter) Psh, you don't need my creative advice, you've got this.

I can understand the slacking off on image hunting, it's a bother if there is something specific you're looking for. I've bookmarked so many artsy sites though, it's easy for me to just run into something I like. I don't even have a camera. ._. But I love photography, and *bangs table with fists* I want to take a course in film photography so bad. (Not digital photography =ffff I just glanced at my tv and the creepiest ghost I've ever seen from a Hanna-Barbera cartoon is cackling and convulsing in such an eerie manner @_@= )
If you don't mind sharing, what are your ideas so far? I've always wanted to draw out my own (I have a couple times but they didn't satisfy me enough) but drawing on a laptop is tough business. ._. And all the good programs are expensive :x I don't blame you for thinking you'll be a little wishy-washy though, your avatar is lovely and you've kept it for so long I'd be astonished to see it replaced.

Lol, I agree...some people get pretty obnoxious. I actually follow a few image bookmarking sites that I feel will appeal to you (and where many potential avatars await), ffffound.com being one of them. That site marked the beginning of my obsession with the internet, I could spend hours clicking through the endless chain of image and letting it lead me to a ton of remarkably interesting sites.
I'm a CD-mix person, my car is swamped with burnt CD's shoddily decorated in sharpie. I get sick of my CDs so fast, though :/ I probably blow my money on blank discs more than I do on gas.

I encourage you swap avatars if you are so inclined, though I feel like I've gotten to know the back of Red (is that the name of the character in your avatar =3=) pretty well. I'm no ~accomplished graphic designer~, but if you need any creative advice, perhaps I could be of assistance. And thank you, you're the first to appreciate my stir-craziness. Everyone else condescendingly asks why (at least it seems condescending, maybe I'm just too sensitive, or maybe this is the internet and emotion through text isn't the easiest to interpret so I should stop trying) and I never really have an explanation. Wow, I've never even imagined such a thing could exist @~@ It's probably a gigantic code. All those letters and symbols in the signature box kind of stress me out, haha, I don't think I'll be adding anything more to mine.
Now that you say that, o what I would give to go back in time and blast Rush Limbaugh in a busy grocery store parking lot. We didn't have such awesomeness where I used to live; we had three Spanish stations, an oldies station, a country station, and a top 40 station. :<

No prabs. I like your current signature as it is, I'm sure someone with your tastes will be able to find something just as ~pleasing to the eye~ if you decided to get all fancy about it like me. Lol @ me switching my avatar probably ten times since we've been conversing, and you keeping yours the same.
I used to ride around town with my friends and we'd blast the radio, it was never all that pleasurable but it did make me feel a bit more ~in touch~ with society.

Othx. This right here: http://www.ppnstudio.com/node/273; I'm the same, I always need a guide for that sort of thing. That site also leads you to PokeCommunity bbcode tags, which was reeeally useful and I'm surprised I haven't seen it as a sticky on any of the forums here.
Must everything you read always be useful and interesting? It sounds like you find enjoyment in reading, regardless of the subject. I share similar experiences with music, I'll sometimes listen to hit stations on the radio for the sheer feel-goodery such simplistic songs based on universal themes (money, cars, women, the writer's ego) provide, though I know I won't gain any artistic maturity or inspiration from it. I see nothing wrong with just being aimlessly hedonistic every once in awhile. ;3
Well, if you enjoyed what you read, I wouldn't call it waste of time. It's much more constructive than what most kids do these days, at least.
That's probably a good thing. I can never finish a book, but I'd love to be a more persistent reader. Haha, if only I had that problem with Nat Geo mags, I usually find myself stripping down the magazine and assembling some sort of collage with the pieces.
Argh @ Gallant, Mr. Perfect. Pretty idealistic to expect children would aspire to Gallant's civility. I think I was equally annoyed by how much of a jerk Goofus could be, though.

I vaguely recall seeing an article about bugs that captured my interests, but I was always one of those kids who couldn't sit still for five minutes and refused to partake in any activity that involved being quiet and productive.
I actually read one at my dentist's office a few months ago, Goofus and Gallant are completely different...they aren't realistically animated like they used to be. :( I liked the art page and the "what's messed up about the picture" game on the back page, I never actually read the articles.
I dunno about the fur, looks like play-dough spaghetti. I'm sure if we got a peek of the process it'd be something simple. Truly marvelous, though!
That sounds impressive, I didn't even know SS had a magazine. #_# Remember Highlights?
I'm afraid I've never heard of such an amazing-sounding thing. I know they used to have these sort of off-brand animal crackers, that may have been more delicious than Barnum's. They were kind of graham-cracker-y.
Things like this blow my mind: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_ObioDLpm9Wc/SeWv1PgUkOI/AAAAAAAABes/XelyRd1VB2k/s1600-h/Elmo&CookieMonster.jpg

Eek, samesies. I guess I could categorize PokeCommunity as one of my many distractions, actually. I have a million bookmarks I should label "reasons to procrastinate."
Oh, hey childhood. Pleasure seeing you again. Like, not only are they in cute little shapes which is half the awesomeness, but they're...delicious. They're not something that I get sick of very quickly, and they have this perfect crunchiness -- I used to let the crackers dissolve in my mouth so they'd last longer.

    That's quite alright :3 Just because I don't have a life, doesn't mean you don't either. ;3
