I enjoy it. I wouldn't say I'd like ALL of the previous games to be that way, but I think its nice to give Generation 5 a fresh start. Since you can't catch any older pokemon, etc., it makes it feel like a completely fresh adventure.
I could change EQ to Stone Edge, but Ice beam is there for Gliscor which comes in more often than you'd think.
EDIT: I was thinking of changing Genosect to Balloon Heatran. Thoughts?
Natty can't do anything to Ludicolo really. And in order to fully "prepare" for a rain team, you'd have to put so much into beating just them it leaves you open against too many other threats. Its like Gen 4 Garchomp. Once its set up, its gonna maul you.
Infernape is definitely the best starter to cover staraptor, because infernape can literally handle the entire game by himself, almost easily. Other than Wake (which can be mitigated to some extent by Grass Knot), infernape can wreck just about everyone.
Staraptor wants: Brave Bird, Close...
It changes a lot actually. Drizzle is perma-rain, whilst Damp Rock Rain Dance is only 8 turns. And lets face it, one of the main strategies for beating rain has always been "stall out the turns". And if you think that you can just "have a well built team that fully beats a well built rain team"...
Generation 5 RMT, The Sandbar
Hey everyone, Speed here. So, as I'm largely unversed in the ways of Gen 5 (I intend to sign up for the tutoring once it re-opens lol), I still wanted to play it, resulting in a lot of bad teams. I figured picking a weather effect would be the most beneficial since...
