also there's something about that dog image below. there's a dog like that in our family who pulls that exact face. like it's done with everything. like it just has given all the shits possible. like a dog who has given too many shits but got no shits in back so now gives no shits. it's wild.
Remember to feel good that you are the only member with a uniquely coloured name that isn't a staff or supporter.
Where I went to school, it's about $7000 tuition + incidental fee for a year for undergraduate studies. There's a province-wide 30% tuition grant that cuts $1830 a year for pretty much everybody that's not the top 1% (parents' total income before taxes must be under $160,000) so that brings it down to just north of $5k a year. These figures are consistent around the whole country: a year of undergrad can be $3k - $7k depending on which school and province you're in.

You're talking like $30k a year which is honestly both frightening and impossible where I live.
I live in Canada, so the loans we might take and the consequences that come with it don't have the same magnitude. I don't think I can help you much, but I'll help to the extent I can. I don't think it'd be too prudent to talk in detail about your finances here, though. PM would be better.

Have you spoken to a financial advisor? There should be some financial help department at your college or registrar or something like that. There might also be mentorship groups that get you in touch with people who have gone through dealing with loans that big as well.

$16,000 seems daunting, but (and I'm guessing you're in the US here) a lot of people manage to get past it, so I'm going to say so can you. Hang in there! :)

I dunno who would want to hack PC, but that's dumb and I want to find the ****ers. I'm too lazy to fix my avatar, and I see you are, too, so I guess we're just part of the "old, lazy brigade" now.
