Loose packs might be cheaper at the hobby shop (generally, they are cheaper in my area), but if you see someone pull an EX and they were in line ahead of or behind you, chances are your packs won't contain an EX, while the blister packs at Target and Wal-Mart have more random odds.

Ah, I can't tell you how sick of "free time" I got after high school. Like the first year of being out was awesome cause I got to be a lazy bum.. but I have too much of an A type personality for that. ;p AND EEEK my boyfriend got me an Umbreon plush too! That nice canvas one. It's a little smaller than the others.. but I love her something fierce. <333; And Espeon too! At some point I'll have to take a pic of all my plushes so we can share. I've racked up quite the little collection over the years. @_@;

Eeek I know! I love how it's weirdly big compared to other plushes. And I do the same thing. I haven't lived with my father for more than a decade but I still force him to buy me plushes. xD My next project is this big sweetie.

Hun, those are so cute! :3 I love fledgling work-- it comes from a place where you really want to do your best, you know? So often (at least, in my eyes because I'm >a novice with icons) I see galleries where people really excel at graphics.. but yours are so raw and charming because there's a touch of "still-learning-ness" to them. I mean, I'm sure you're a lot better since then-- but I think what you've posted is super "you", if that makes sense. I have that same Togekiss plush! :D

And in response to your other VM, that's so cool that you play sax! My boyfriend is a trumpet player, like really good too -- and just recently picked up his horn again. He was first chair in regional jazz (idk if that makes sense, music is completely lost on me ;; but I'm sure you know what I mean!). But that was forever ago. I definitely have an appreciation for anyone who can play though!

I'm never the one who does challenges, but I do love stalking that "Unapproved challenges" thread.

From what I saw in that thread alone, I know that forgetting to participate is the reason most of the challenges get unapproved. It's the most-ignored rule in that section.

Pokemon Gaming Central and Advance Gen Games are still booming in activity, so I guess that leaves Metal/Color Gen Games and Spinoffs as the "deadest" sections in GPGD.

Out of the sections you mod, I'd have to say Challenges is the hardest since so many people who submit a challenge have no idea you're supposed to participate in it.

Tbh if I were a mod I would never want an entire category like you, if I had to mod such a section it would be Current Gen Gaming but I'm only exceptionally knowledgeable in X/Y, B2/W2, B/W and 4th Gen, but not TC or BC. Most people think I'm suited for B/W, and I guess it's cos I've been too helpful there.

I find it funny how some people thought Challenges was your only section.

Finally, I get to say thanks for the compliment.

I do wish I had kept some of my boxes, but I threw a lot of them away when I was running out of room for things and they weren't holding together well.

They would've been more valuable if you hadn't even opened them. :P

The only reasons I get the theme decks are the trainers and the special prints included in those theme decks. Otherwise it's not worth it at all. Usually all of 1 sparkly card in it, with some cards that are normally sparkly made not-so-sparkly.
