I prefer proper English. However, I still use certain acronyms such as BTW, LOL, and WTF. I'm not a great fan of chatspeak of 1337, I only like them if they're used for joke purposes.

Even if the Rep Point system comes back for only giving positive rep, it wouldn't stop the abuse. Because as I recall, another reason that rep points were disabled was because people were giving good rep to others just because they were friends, hence the reason almost every active member...
