I liked the fellowship the best, it wasn't as dark as the other two and I felt that it was really good.

I liked Johto, is was good.

I think people just grew out of it, the fad ended and the majority of people decided they didn't like it anymore, I still love the show but none of my friends do, this eventually happends with everything.
