Oof, I've been saving my maps to the rom... Is there a way to extract maps from the rom and save them as map files? If not, then I'll just keep the master rom, so to speak, and attach your maps to them as you finish.

How soon will you have an opportunity to start? When you do, don't worry about the interiors of buildings right away, since probably a lot of those won't be accessible.

Cool, a mapper would be useful. Right now it looks like we're using FireRed for the Toxic Purple hack. Do you think you could recreate Johto? (Not all of the locations will be needed, though; for example, I don't think we're ever going to need to enter Whirl Islands, so the interior maps there don't need to be recreated.)

Also, do you know if it's possible to have two different mappers on the same project without causing issues? Right now I'm planning on making a few locations myself--custom Rocket base interiors, mainly--and don't know if that would cause any problems if you're doing mapping as well.
