The point of SE is that it doesn't have those extra features; it's for people who want to play Emerald with current-gen mechanics, not for people who want an entirely different game.

I think that's smart, my plan was for Alpha to be the builds before adding new abilities and Beta to start once the new abilities were added. Looks like it's complete enough by now that you can skip the Beta phase {XD}
Nice catch, TM/HMs use a different image set for their types than moves do. Since Draco corrected the Fairy implementation to be a new type entirely, it sounds like that image just needs to have Normal swapped back in. That, or the images might be right and Cut could just be mis-typed as Fairy...
Most of it was straight-up trial and error. Chaos Rush's tutorial explains the general how-to pretty nicely; from there I looked at moves with animations similar to the ones I wanted, and played around to figure out what little strings of hex do what.

If you're adding any new Tutors to the game, Grass Knot would be one to consider. None of the Gen I-III Pokes learn it naturally, but a ton of them can by TM. It uses the same effect as Low Kick, but with Grass typing.

Sounds like a solution to me. That would fix the Conversion/2 bugs as well if Normal were returned to the 0x0 slot again. Not sure how to make type-boosting effects, but it might be worth looking into making a proper Pink Scarf too (and returning the Silk Scarf to Normal)
Putting Fairy into [???]'s slot would cause Eggs to appear Fairy-type (hence why Normal was put there instead--in newer Gens eggs are Normal anyways).

This is correct, once you have the GS Ball take it to Petalburg Woods. In the area behind the tree that needs Cut will be a shrine, interacting with it will trigger Celebi's appearance. IIRC the original (but abandoned) story arc for the GS Ball in the show was that Celebi was 'trapped' inside...

I have always been of the opinion that capital punishments should reflect the crime committed. If he shot and killed 12 people, he should be shot 12 times (with only the final being fatal). Plus, twelve 9mm rounds would be much cheaper and less time consuming than that potassium chloride...
