Now, I currently defeated the second gym leader with my caught Starly and it's now a Staravia. Pokemon Team 1. Grotle 2. Staravia 3. Roselia

I have beaten the first gym leader and my Turtwig evolved into Grotle and currently I'm heading towards the second gym leader. I also caught a Seedot and evolved it into a Roselia.
