  • Not yet. The whole throwing/absorbing/landing animation is currently just one group of commands, and I'll need at some point to split it into two and stick the "show burst animation" call in the middle. I don't know when I'll get round to it.

    Actually, how much do you know about the following Pokemon Script? I am using it in my game and get a weird problem. Every time the pokemon tries to walk onto a tile that is marked with "Passage 4 direction" it moves around it. Its like the tile is impassible for the pokemon.

    Nope. I'm preparing something before Christmas. Hopefully Sunday (I don't want to do it on Monday because the date will clash with last year's Christmas Eve release). The good news is there's plenty to talk about in the release notes.

    I may well go back to my TCG project after v11 is out.
    I indeed need something haha. On the next release of Uranium you can visit a rain forest, and there you can find 4 types of berries. On the town on the heart of the forest there are traders that accept those berries in exchange of many different items. For example, 1 ThunderStone = 1 of berry A + 3 of berry B and the combinations goes on between the 4 berries (A, B, C, D). What I want is a script scene that resembles the default mart scene but uses the 4 berries as currency and shows how many you have of each one and how many of each one a item costs through their icons. I hope you can do it and understand what I'm asking :)

    I don't know when it'll be out. I don't even really have a goal for it, so I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

    I imagine that kind of thing can be evented, and it's probably not really worth adding to Essentials. You can always turn it into a tutorial if you want.
    Hmm, what indeed? I've fixed the "Ignore if can't move" thing not working, maps can now be defined to take up multiple squares in the Town Map (and I'll be editing the example maps to take advantage of that), ribbons have been improved and I've fixed a bug where typing in text doesn't actually become what was typed in. Oh, and improved debug options and two other things which I'll keep secret. Plus many other things as usual. I'm far from done.

    What is this gender select script? Is it an "Are you a boy or a girl?" thing where to press left or right to highlight your choice?
    Yes, but it's got a problem with screen centering, and I just remembered about the map connections.
    Not much any more. I would love to get back to it, but we have put an iPhone app into development which me and some class mates have been working on for a few months. Currently, that is what consumes my development time.

    I will probably find my way back here at some point, but when we have a team, professors backing our idea and a group willing to invest in the development of the application, that is where my time will be.
