  • >.> Did I do that? I'm sorry if I did that, I've had that done to me a few times and I hate that.

Okay, whatever, listening to reason is overrated. But if you want a new subject, don't look at me.
It's not competition. >.> I'm trying to show you this because if you don't find out you'll never understand Spanish because you'll always think that's right. What you're doing now is saying everything I'm saying, basically...
And what reason do you have for not wanting to know what a fluent Spanish speaker has to say on the subject? If you're not afraid of being proven wrong, wouldn't getting closure on the matter be the best thing for you? If you look for proof and find it, or speak to someone and find out, you're right and I'll stop talking. If you talk to a Spanish speaker and are proven wrong, you learn a lesson and accept it, and I stop talking. Obviously what I'm saying seems to be making you unhappy, so you win either way. >.>
No. If you actually read the quote all the way through you would see it...
I wouldn't just lie to you, you know. You're just not bothering to look at my proof because you're afraid you'll be proven wrong. I'm not kidding, you can talk to Went, Xane, Bahamuth...anyone of them. They are all fluent in Spanish.
I'm not trying to malevolently prove you wrong, so there's no need to yell or look for "backup". I challenge you to show me proof of what you said, as I have been doing myself. >.>
I didn't use an English translator at all. Don't assume things like that with no evidence. And by "3 years of Spanish" I'm guessing you mean 7th grade, 8th grade, and the first half month of 9th grade? I took that too. >.> But it doesn't count because 7th and 8th are solely pointless reiteration.

    A Spanish learning site.

"Hablar" means "to talk". It is an infinitive and can't be used as a predicate, only a noun or gerund.
I really don't know what your teachers are saying or how you're interpreting it, but one or the other is wrong. :T I'm guessing you've misinterpreted what they're saying. Because I can show you all the proof in the world. I can direct you to one of my Spanish-speaking friends. They will all say the same thing.
I'm sorry, but Spanish is not just like English. You can't expect them to have all the same grammar. :T You can look it up anywhere, absolutely anywhere. Ask anyone who knows enough Spanish and they will tell you a predicate always needs to be conjugated.
I'm not trying to talk down to you, but, judging by your age, you can only be a freshman in high school. I have taken a full year of Spanish along with lots of practice and talking to Spanish friends on here. So trust me. ;)
Aw, don't I wish. Naw. He's normally very busy. Not just that he says he's busy, which is a different thing entirely. He I know he's busy, and not just saying he is. But I'm very lucky to have him anyway.

I went with my 18 year old brother. My sister had a performance there - with the choir - and screwed herself over by riding the bus with them... which meant she had to go home with them too. Probably only because the teacher didn't realize my brother was 18, but then again, he knew I was of age, and could have just said that I could sign her out...

Still, she got to do a little bit of stuff.

My brother and I just mostly hit the games. I won a little stuffie. Although I bet Seth could have won me a better one. ^^
Okay, but I should tell you that you never put an infinitive there. You need the correct form that corresponds with the subject. You would say "yo no hablo" since "hablo" is the "I" form of hablar.
