first, he took game SYSTEMS apart, like the wii and ps3. also, i've been studying the same way our family computer guy told me to. he gave me 3 books to start with, each over 700 pages, and one told you how to make 2D and 3D games. he gave me a simpler book, a more advance book, and a complex book to study.
my friend has studied how to make game systems, and by taking some apart, learned how they worked. he found out that the motion for the wii is a type of bluetooth. he also took apart cartridges from older systems, and found out how they work.
i have studied for 5 years because i wanted to. i would also of learned all on my own if i had to, just like our family's computer guy.
we both have studied for this, because we both wanted to work for a game company. he mainly wanted to make the systems, so he studied that, while i wanted to make the games, so i studied that. then when we met 3 years ago, we decided to make our own company. we then studied, and tried to make games and systems, and now we know enough to start a company. we are almost done making the prototype, and i already finished the first game except for testing it, which i'm doing now.
don't say that it is impossible for me to do this, because i am. it is improbable, not impossible. and if you don't believe me, then why even try to get in a conversation like this. you won't win, because i will make the games, and i also have a more advanced friend that is helping me with the systems, and another to help test.
my questions are: when did you start to try to learn? how dedicated are you?
all my life i wanted to make games, and i don't care what happens to me, because it is the only thing i want to do. so if you don't believe me, then why waste your time talking to me about this?
