I really don't like my designs most of the time. They often seem wonky or choppy to me and don't have that clean, harmonious flow to them like good designs that the kids do have (Look at Abnegation, Forever, and Serene Grace's profiles, and look at all the oozing design talent the GFX folks like Dukey have). I can't figure out how to make mine good. Ever since I was tween I saw how good a lot of kids were at design and was jealous and wanted to do it, too. It's why I took digital media and web design as a junior and senior. It's why I majored in graphic design for 2 1/2 years.
But after all this time it's like nothing has changed. I'm just not a designer, plain and simple. My skills and potential lie elsewhere. S'why I changed majors to animation. I had stopped progressing. I reached my limit. And at the same time, I realized I might actually make a pretty good animator, when before I wouldn't even consider it to be possible. I have always wanted to give life to my creations, after all, and already I feel more of a sense of 'belonging' after only one quarter of it. Plus, these four majors - MAA (mine), GAD, VFX, and VGP - are all just a big family to each other. It's really cool :3
Haha, yeah. If you don't write in a journal then bothering to style it is kinda silly. X3
