Yeah, it pretty much is rotting. I really miss you on the server and everything, maybe Wolf/Anti will give you a trial run with allowing you to attend a community night or something. :/
At least you're rating teams and participating in the official tour, which is pretty much all you can do. Wolf usually listens to my suggestions, so maybe I can pitch stuff to him.

Most of the people on the server are just casuals from irc like Forever, Vaporeon7, etc. Luke, Jake [musicnote], Aero and myself are the only regulars on. I really miss how active it used to be. Star ratings aren't really a big change though, I think a community night is needed so everyone can reconnect and such.

Yeah, I mean, it seems like the old community has pretty much fallen apart and I choked and screwed my rating back to like 1237 x__x.
You really had a bunch of good suggestions in that thread lol, were any implemented? And even though it would be cliche, I admit badging users would be sort of cool lmao.

I guess I try for 1300 again, today.

I managed to recover my rating pretty much, and got to about 1290 by winning a +20 match again this sun team that got like 9 crits against me, but I managed to win by setting up SR when Forry was about to die, killing his Volcarona and Darmanitan. B)

Ehhh I like Celebi, but the fact that it's Pursuit bait is a turn off. I actually used Deoxys-D on the first edition of this team and it worked pretty well, so I might try that. I figured Hitmontop and Hippowdon beat Lucario, since Hitmontop has a decent Special Defense stat and Hippo has incredible bulk, not to mention both laugh at physical variants. What steel do you think I should use, though? Also, D-A, do you have MSN, I imagine talking there would be easier lol.

Huntelaar is my alt, that's pretty great, though, but Rock Slide has always had lackluster results, as it can't even KO things like Hydreigon, when Excadrill is at +2, except it always seems to flinch when my opponent needs it to. 9.9

According to that guide, I still need something to stop last mon sweeps, I really wish more good stuff got Perish Song lol. Right now, I'm looking at a setup of Jellicent/Hippowdon/Hitmontop/Evo Stone Chansey/Slowbro, the 6 mon filling the role of the spiker. If you have any suggestions or changes, that would help a lot. I'm debating who to give SR to, as Chansey loses Toxic and Hippo loses coverage with Ice Fang if they have SR on their set.

Lmao the team I'm laddering with has no Ghost, but it still manages to perform well. I'll probably include Jellicent on the team I'm building, I love the idea of a Spin Blocker that isn't spikes set up fodder for things like Forretress. And yeah, I definitely plan on having a cleric since Top will need to rest a lot. Also, just curious, but do you use the team building method here, for all of your stall teams? It seems pretty effective, I may consider trying it.

Oh, nice. I attained my ranking using the team KG made at the beginning of our tutoring session, and it's definitely effective, except for when I make stupid mistakes or hax comes into play. It really is ridiculous how my opponent can get a 6.25% Crit chance to activate before I can get a 30% Burn Chance, but I guess that's the price you pay for playing stall. I'm probably going to build a new stall team soon with Hitmontop, which is a mon I've been itching to use on a serious team.

Haha no problem. Is this an offensive team you're using now? I remember you had one when you fought Vrai. I'm sitting at 1296, which is one above my old record, hopefully I'll be able to crack 1300 this time.

Yea, I'm gearing up for a long-time career in the Navy so most of my time for now will be spent away from home at trainings, getting ready for college, things like that. After college I'll be heading into the military as an officer most likely. I'll be on tour a lot so even then it'll be tough.

Metagross is yeah too slow, even after being passed a SS, rain teams, Scarfers and yeah Excadrill still outspeed him. I like the idea of Lucario >>> Metagross, should I run Mixed, Physical or Special?

Zone has not been too useful but Mence has done quite a lot, idk I manage to get SS to him a lot and he usually takes 2 done with him and if lucky cripples a third. That's probably cause my rating is rather low now and i'm playing noobs :x

Done, I'll use Taunt. So Deoxys-S/Latios/Mence/Espeon/Lucario/Gorebyss should be good or should I have replaced something else? Thanks
