  • BTW, in case you're wondering how someone could AR an Event Pokémon, I can tell you how. They collect the legitimate Event themselves then look at the coding to determine how to create the same Pokémon using Action Replay. What results is a perfect clone of the original Event right down to the very Ribbon; coincidentally, this Ribbon makes it uncheckable via PokéCheck. As legendaries cannot participate in certain types of activities, even the backup method of checking is impossible.

I do believe an AR code would be locked to one nature, so using the code may generate the same nature 100% of the time; otherwise, it works exactly like the Event. All one has to really do is change the DS date to match the period of the Event, run the code a couple of times, and there you go.
Fortunately, I had those other two and three more (all Shiny, legitimacy presumed as I got them via trades) sitting in the box for another planned trade. One of those is a Shiny Eevee claiming to be an Egg from the Daycare on March 6, hatched on Route 3, and voila, it's Shiny. I've kept about six or seven clones for my own evolutions. A Shiny Audino and Shiny Sawsbuck are also hanging out, both captured in battle by the OT. The Shiny Entei I do question legitimacy on now, meanwhile; it has the ID, but it's listed as received July 9, 2012. I note that this IS possible; it might have been received and not collected for over a year at the Pokémart by someone who no longer played frequently, and the date picked up from the green-suited guy is the date that is shown. Larvitar has a May 9, 2012 date; this one is EARLIER than the date of the event (June 30); ironically, this is ALSO possible if the system had the wrong date in the first place. I'm guessing both are AR, so I might have to replace them with my own ARs. These I would make exception to for the sake of trading because they are EVENTS; however, it makes me think I've been cloning and trading hacked Events to begin with.
Shiny Nincada is NOT available now. In fact, the regular Nincada I did transfer isn't even in Unova yet.

The other two ARE in Unova and able to be traded now, but I have to check they are cloned before I send them off.
Well, I can't AR Emerald, so you know the Nincada is legit. The Entei came froma trade, it's legit. from what I know (and already Lv.100, the original when received was something like Lv.30 but mine came fully trained). The Larvitar was also a trade, and again is just being cloned (although I have a code for it, too, if I really wanted it in my name; silly all the same as I can't train it as fast should I ever decide to!).

So based on the above, the three I speak of are all legit. :)
I actually found an AR code for a Manaphy Egg. :) However, yes, the Shaymin I could still look for, and the Deoxys, both if only for legitimacy...and sure, let's include the Manaphy in any case as I don't know whether mine will have legitimacy issues (despite claiming to be from the other game as it normally would, it could trigger as an AR...but if not, I'll still use it at the very least for breeding Phione).

Shiny Nincada is not yet imported - I have to put together another group of six before I can import again. I imported a plain one first as that will be the one I train in the games, and the Shiny one will be cloned everywhere I put it before I send it to fight. :D If I'm not lucky with my Wurmple imports (i.,e. both evolve to the same one of its two forms, I don't get the other), I'll simply catch the other and make it first to go; Seedot and Slakoth are two more, and the Shiny is #4; I have to pick two more to import; chances are they would be ones not found in Unova anywhere, anyhow, thus giving me more unique trade material. Box organization is going splendidly, as well; it won't be long until I have all possible evolutions between generations done, letting me leave a final arrangement in place and allowing me to organize all of my Unovans.

So...the Event Entei (already used, remember, I would have to later Relocate an AR one if you need it for the Event, and I also plan to get a Raikou and Suicine done that way after I capture the normal versions) and VGC Lartitar and both availabler as options. The Shiny Nincada will still be shortly off; I know I can find Nosepass later, as well as Spinda, Corphish, Snorunt, and Bagon (all needed in Unova) later, but knowing the last group still has gaps, I'll still likely have to add a couple of extras that I don't actually need (in SS maybe, but not Unova). :)
I've actually forgotten which ones I was asking for - that and I have been importing Pokémon all over the place. I can't do anything else Johto-wise now; I have to get a few legendaries to finish it and Kanto for good (that is Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, Suicine, and Ho-oh, all of which are catchable, plus the roaming Entei I haven't gone for yet strictly because my Mean Look user is an Ice type, meaning I have to breed another type to stand ground).

Meanwhile, I'm exploring whether I can import Hoenn entries without finishing Emerald first (since I can visit Pal Park in SS), Picked up Emerald and took care of Watson, whose Gym I left off in a couple of months or so back. Went south and doubled up on Electrike and Gulpin, families I am missing in Unova. Went to Fallarbor (accidentally tripped a battle on 117) and straight into the tunnel. Cleared the rock, eliminating Briney from my activities unless I need to head to Dewford (unlikely). Took the shortcut by Cutting up top on 116, returned to Rustboro. Going to catch another normal Nincada to be part of the first import, then my Shiny Nincada will join the second group barring difficulty. Won't be long until a Lv.7 Shiny Nincada starts making the rounds - that is, unless I have to finish Emerald first.

EDIT: Turns out I can import from Emerald before finishing Emerald. Sweet. I've imported Nincada, Skitty, Gulpin, and Electrike, plus two Wurmples hoping they take opposite evolutionary tracks.
    Alright, I don't mind a wait!~ Thanks a bunch! I really appreciate it!

...Um, lemme see... The golduck you're wanting is Lv. 50, Docile nature, female.... Capable of taking hits... Has the ability Cloud Nine...

Also, is there any nickname you'd want me to give it? I caught it myself. It has a nickname as of now, but I can change it, if you'd like.
Yup, I've bred a Nidoran male and there are shiny version on Pokecheck done by RNG abusers all with Hustle / DW ability. You breed a Nidoran female and some male of the egg group and get baby Nidoran, who can have DW ability.
I can't stay up on Sundays either so I know what it feels like. During what times will you be able to trade?
I've been trying to catch you online but I haven't had any luck. :( Since we're in different time zones you're on when I'm in school and not able to trade then. I'll be free this weekend if you're available then. :)
I always believe in having a backup. ;) If I forget to charge one system (the 3DS), I can always play for a while on the other system while the main one charges. In fact, I find myself at times just using the backup (which is my Action Replay system) to play normally because it's plugged in next to me while the 3DS sits on its charging pedestal.
    Yeah, unfortunately. :(

Definitely consider the used system route; I did get a second system (older model) for $60. Might be more than it was worth, but if you check sites where locals can sell stuff (mine was found on Kijiji), you might get lucky and find someone offering one even cheaper. If so, there's your problem forever solved. Screw friends. :D
Try going to one of the stores that sells stuff and explain you're trying to transfer Pokémon; maybe they can help you.

Or do what I did; buy a second DS used. I can transfer whenever I want; heck, I have to clone my Lv.50 untouched Snorlax from Kanto Route 11 and transfer it, I sense good trading material there. :D
Transferring from Gen. IV to Gen. V has to be done in the same room; I can't import your Gen,. IV into Gen. V over here. This is something that is done through DS Download Play, which senses local activity - not wireless. If we were in the same room; I could import them there, but I can't do it from all the way over here.

The complication in matters is that the connection is a secure one, and the Gen. IV games (being made for the DSi and having no coding for the eventual 3DS) refuse to connect over this secure connection. If I were going to trade in Gen. IV, I'd have to travel - literally.

Here's what I can tell you. If you can find ANY DS system - of ANY type - to borrow, stick the Gen. V game in there (save data goes with it, which I learned by surprise a couple of weeks ago) and go to the transfer lab on Route 15 (initiating things there), then let it sit while you do the DS Download Play minigame on your system to transfer. After both games save the imports, and you've shut off or otherwise exited DS Download Play on your system, pop over to the PC in the lab and verify they're in there. Once that's done, you're done borrowing a DS and you can trade with me. :)

If you REALLY want to try over WFC, though, I'll start the game and go into the room,. but I'm 98% sure this won't work.
