Well sure, I could tweak it a little bit :)
But I do have a specific reason for the inn being there in the first place.
There is this mining sidequest you can access later in the game. You can recruit hikers to work for you and each time they're working, you'll have to return to the inn (by walking there, or through a script's YES/NO option) to take a rest. Once you've done resting there, the workers have finished that task they were doing.
