Yeah, I'm looking through some spriting tutorials to figure out texture, and I'm looking at official sprites and studying some of them to learn textures.
I'm gonna play with them while spriting. I'm using a new method of doing so, so it'll be easier for me to change stuff while I'm spriting xD
Also look at my album here, since I think these old fakemon need major work more than the ones in my dA gallery. Lol I finally decided upon Beadle's evolution xD The concept art is in my dA gallery (the Bug/Psychic-type) but I changed that design quite a bit and I'm spriting it now alongside Beadle. I'm also gonna rename it...
Lol I'll wait until you play around with my designs, cuz tbh I'm spriting the current designs for practice. Whatever I do now isn't going into the game xD

Hey I tried my hand at spriting with a new style ^^ It definitely needs improvement but if I send some sprites to the spriters to be revamped that will definitely speed up the process ^^ Btw I'm gonna e-mail them to you... Tell me what you think is wrong with them. I know they don't look right but I can't figure out why...

I'm not sure yet, but I'm looking into it. It might require ASM, which I'm not proficient at. I've tried, but have not been very successful, so I'll let you know.

Hey sorry for not answering, I've been real busy, with my own hack. and I have like 4 people asking me to help with theirs, so it's hard to remember what I need to get done.

Yep, Robin on Pokebay. He said he's popping in occasionally and he'll send me the sketches. And Beadle has a funny motif going on with his evolutions, so I think I'm gonna design a new bug-type to evolve into it. Like how there was Weedle and Caterpie, we'll have Beadle and the unnamed bug-type I'll design soon enough xD
And that's complicated, I was thinking of inserting them as two separate Pokemon and have a way to easily switch them back and forth, or "evolve" into each other. Gender differences wouldn't be difficult, but just like they had two separate Nidorans, it wouldn't look right.. Maybe with one or two Pokemon though

Lol I was gonna make it the final stage of a bug-type family xD Maybe we can add another form for it then? Lol I do know how to do that on FireRed ROMs... That would actually be cool maybe I'll do that xD
And I like the bird in the album, the new one I mean. It's pretty interesting. I'd like it for the beginning of the game! And that's good, so now we can take more Beta Screenshots! Robin is sending me a pic of a new evolution he designed so we'll have that one too. I'm working on my 3rd sketch on pS now. It's a Poison/Steel-Type, the Nuclear Pokemon. I think it's a bit cliched but it's a good design
