In the UK we do like two years of college then typically three years at university. So during college (age 16-18) I did biology for one year and chemistry for two. From the biology that I did do, I remember coming across the term allele and genotypes but we also did a lot of human biology as well and electrophoresis? But that link you showed me explaining the process and stuff, if you had that in the first place then what are you trying to do? Were you given a similar problem with different values to use or something?

Yeah what I didn't know was that there was a way to derive the value of q^2 and hence work the rest out. I was only looking at it mathematically since I don't really know much about alleles and genotypes and that principle - been many years since I've done that stuff haha
