Actually the Mega stone for Manectric is in X...but the Pokémon is in Y. Had to trade in order to obtain my Houndoom...
I like Heracross' Megaevolution, it looks like a Hercules Beatle.

They certainly did. The only ones I feel that aren't fan favorites are Ampharos, Pinsir, Mawile, Bannette, Heracross, and Manectric.
