I don't know a thing about Moltres and what it was based on. My book of mythical beasties opened right up to Benu and I just figured that the thing looks exactly like Moltres that I would just run with it. Like a Flock Of Seagulls.

But I'll keep my watch over all the sections here, compile the guano crazy threads, and post them all here for easy reading. That way, you won't have to search for them.

As for the Sim wank? The communities sim_wank, sim_spam, sim_secret, and thesims2 on LJ were all over that action. When the Sims 2 fandom wanks, we explode into massive wank. There's still a wank going on from March, if you can believe it, over a bloody picture. And there's wank over freckles.

I love the Sims 2 fandom. Because they're either completely crazy and tearing each other's throats out over freckles, or they all get together as massive massive lesbian orgies. It's...beautiful.

The thread really hasn't exploded into wank yet. It's teetering on the edge of wank and omgwut. My particular location of the "omgwut" factor is the two different Legendary Beasts. It's like Suicune is a revived version of Suicune, but they're entirely different creatures. And random accent-less too!

Oh, and the fact that Moltres is more god-like than Ho-Oh. You know, flaming chicken of flames is totally more god-like than the phoenix with the power to raise the dead. Unless Moltres is based on Benu, but Benu only created time (which now, in Pokemon canon, Dialga did) and guided souls on their journey to meet Osiris (which, if one thinks about it, Moltres does in a way), but then Herodotus called Benu a "phoenix", and Ho-Oh fits the role, and looks, of a phoenix more.

It's fine, this time of year is pretty hectic. I haven't done much more than lurk here the past few weeks because of work and Christmas stuff. I'm beginning to hate both winter and Christmas because of all of this insanity.

Taking on some betas would be quite time consuming. I hear you with the errands thing, too. My mother finds all of these little things for me to do that aggravate the crap out of me. I've mostly been hiding out in my room to evade detection.

And on the very very Andy side: My custom neighborhood in the Sims 2, where I play my Andy!Sim, is completely populated by gay male sims. And most of them have red hair. This lead me to believe that Andy cloned himself to populate the neighborhood so his children can marry himself. D: D: D: What is it with Andy and incest!?

Well, I haven't written all that much.. of anything, really. I only started liking my own writing some half a year ago, and I still can't devise a plot for the life of me. I can only write... vignettes, I guess you could say; middles without beginning nor end nor semblance of story. Unpostworthy, I'm sure, as the only common theme is a lack thereof...

Regardless, thank you for showing interest and for the friend request! :O I'm still pretty new here and equally lost, but hopefully I'll get used to it soon enough.

My avatar is actually quite a funny story. I haven't read the book nor have I seen the movie (it's actually only released in Ireland today - you Americans get everything first!), and I don't intend to pick up the novel anytime soon. It's just that when my friend decided to bet me that he could stick with an embarrassing avatar longer than me, I felt compelled to prove him wrong. So far, I'm surviving. That option to change one's avatar is pretty tempting though, I have to admit.

And make those amusing comments anyway: It'd be good for the laugh.

Well, it's Christmas soon. I thought that if I explained to my parents that I was carrying my six year old laptop owned by two people before me and I dropped it by accident, they'd decide to listen to my Christmas wish and get me a new laptop. Instead, it only made them more determined to say no. Meh, I still have six days to convince them to buy me one - and we know that my persuasion skills are something else, right?

Also, sorry for the late reply. Pointless exams + parents who are fanatical about my education + being sick = delays.
