That sounds alright, but it probably limits him to being from Old Town though, just so you're aware.

I don't think I could really get back into WoW RP'ing after having been here for so long. And no, the leveling is usually just something you go through out of character in order to be able to go to higher leveled areas for RP'ing, or cooler looking gear. Though some people -do- tend to do their leveling and questing IC.

Oh! I was thinking, do you have Skype? If so, I'd love to add you to make chatting be a bit easier. And if enough people have Skype, we could do a Titans group to make it easier to chat to each other about ideas and plans :3

Well, you don't write what a character thinks or the reason for their actions in the actual text. The only things you write is what they do, and what they say. I like it because it has a visual element too. You can focus your energy on the writing, rather than having to describe every little detail about your character, like their clothing, or the surroundings, because that's already there.

It's a massive, open world that's constantly moving, so it feels... alive. Even if you're not there, things are still going to happen, which you'll then find out about when you come back to it. You get to RP with others through guilds of various ideals, like maybe a guardsmens guild, a noble house, a trading caravan, a band of cultists, whatever you want. You could also just go up and randomly chat with people. And some of the more community-orientated people on the servers actually host server-wide events that they themselves organize. Like a halloween dress-up party, with contests, prizes, mingling and stuff like that.

It would be difficult to get used to after being used to forum-RP'ing, though. It's alot more fast-paced, for sure. I know I had alot of difficulty with getting used to forum-RP'ing after WoW :P

Exactly! That's one of the bad things about forum-based RPs and writing SUs. When I began RP'ing, back in my time, it was on WoW. Nobody knew anything about anybody, unless they -asked-, or did an event with them or something like that. It was very... face-to-face. I -like- not knowing everything about a character, because then it becomes all the more surprising when you find out stuff about them, and your character can in turn act all the more genuinely.

I just feel like there's more you can do if you don't lock yourself 100% down to any one story, unless it works in your favor. As it is right now, I haven't decided on what Quantum's backstory actually is, and... well, I think I'd actually prefer to have it develop naturally through the RP. Like, we all start RP'ing, and slowly, I start seeing what she once was. Whether she was a human in an accident, an alien from another world, etcetera. It'd sort of grow to fit in with what was going on.

Does that make sense?

Oh, by the way, nice job on the statistics in the Titans thread! I do loves me some statistics. And I like that all of the 'unknown' is Quantum's stuff :P Do you think that's a good thing? Or am I just being pretentious?

In terms of music I tend to listen to alot of classic rock and more recently J-rock as well. (Because I'm a weeaboo or something, I don't even know anymore ;_;) What kind of music are you into?

Well Thor is a woman now in the Marvelverse comics so its an open playing field for genders in comics at the moment. XD

And I don't know them unfortunately, rap really isn't my preferred genre of music. I know it's capable of producing meaningful lyrics but the amount of bilge and filth that comes out of "popular rappers" these days just turns me off.
