But I disagree, US is one of the most advanced country when it comes to military and its related technology and gadgets.

They all dislike Japan for one reason because of World War II and comfort women.

So China's quite the middle guy between North and South Korea, huh? After either one of the Korea get eliminated, China might fight over the NK/SK, depending which side has lost their leader. Oh, what's China's reason to fight over the lands? Well, the Ancient Korea was a colony of China, knowing China they'll argue for the sake of it. Lol

China's armies haven't really reached that level yet, though undeniably they are improving. If a war between China and Russia happens, (basing on current standards) Russia wins but definitely not an easy one.

That's actually better than uniting their forces as one! It's the worst if they join forces with North Korea! :/

China and Russia/Soviet Union were in cold at least once, but generally they are friendly to each other. :/ Birds of a feathers flock together, as they say.

I don't know the exact reason why, but I guess it's because:
- Taiwan didn't say anything about the handover, nor they want to have something to do with it;
- Taiwan isn't power or continent hungry like China;
- China was the one who urged UK about the handover.
- While slightly unrelated, this rumor is worth mentioning: UK actually asked to extend the lease, but China refused and threatened Mrs. Thatcher. The threatening might also be the reason why Taiwan didn't partake the handover and the related conversation.

In the eyes of the motherland, Macao is 'the obedient child' and Hong Kong is rebellious one! No need to embarrassed, to be real honest! It isn't US history we're talking about here! ;)

According to unfair treaty, part of the Hong Kong should be eternally under the United Kingdom. I'd also like to add that the British signed the treaty with the Qing. The Qing doesn't and shouldn't automatically equalizes to the China government, because Chinese communist did not take over China immediately after the Qing empire ended; Taiwan shares the same history as China (don't forget that Taiwan is a recent split from the China). Because if we are equalizing them, in that sense Hong Kong should belong to Taiwan as well. The issue is actually far complicated than it looks like. Fortunately (for the Chinese communist party), Taiwan had no intention to fight over Hong Kong, the Taiwan just wanted to be left alone.

You are absolutely correct! I know the intentions of 'One Country Two Systems' were good, at least from the UK's perspective; that 50 year-only-system was created as a phase for the Hong Kongers to slowly revert back to China. But knowing how (openly) corrupt and aggressive China is, they can no longer wait. Imo, China shouldn't reinforce their ways to Hong Kong. Don't get me wrong, Hong Kong belongs to China, but immediate enforcement isn't the best way to take the hearts of Hong Kongers! Britain has taken over Hong Kong for more than 150 years, and how many human-generations is 150 years? People and their lifestyle have changed already (in case you can't understand, try to think on the perspective of American lifestyle vs British lifestyle). Therefore, if they want Hong Kong to go the China way, they have to slowly influence the people here, otherwise it's gonna result into something like the June 4th in China (Yes, I'm talking about how they steamrolled the students with tanks at Tiananmen Square in 1989).

Why a control system? Because the idea of influencing Zygarde kinda conflict with Zygarde's protective nature, huh? :P I'd like to add on the controlling idea, the Flare might have known Zygarde's nature so they took advantage of that and showed false images to Zygarde. Images like humans wrecking nature through various means, cutting down forests and so on.

In other words, Zygade can be manipulated/influenced with the trainer's will, huh?
