It's difficult to focus on sometimes, right? I've only read a couple of manga all the way through, and that was only because I was really into the anime series they were based on. I find reading them to be quite tiring...I'd probably get used to it the same way I got used to subtitles in anime, but I'm not really motivated to. Plus reading manga would be like reading books based on movies (or vice versa, as is often the case) in that I'd inevitably prefer one version and it'd ruin the other for me.

I frequently go on TV Tropes and read a couple of pages for giggles, it makes me appreciate my favourite media a lot more in a weird way.

As a general rule, I don't read light novels or manga (although I may break this rule for more Index and Railgun somewhen, once I've finished catching up with Marvel) so that won't be a problem.

Yeah, thats part of why I don't watch Toonami nowadays. I'm either sleeping for early work, or need to sleep before it finishes so I just don't start it. XD; I used to stay up and watch it when I was younger though.

Those are both on my list of shows to watch...somewhen. Whenever the mood strikes me, I guess. I'd probably watch more anime if I was in the mood for them, I don't have much else to do with my time either.

It's cringeworthy when it's overdone most of the time, unless it crosses the line into hammy territory, at which point it's just plain funny, to me at least. It's better when shows don't take themselves seriously, or aren't meant to be taken too seriously by the viewer.
