I honestly forgot how long the XY intro was.. I do remember the rivals pretty well but goodness are they (Kalos ones) uninteresting. I wish they had a little more depth. They were cool in the anime from what I know, but less so in the games. I think Alola's rivals/characters as a whole were much more memorable and just better overall!

No that's understandable, I get that! Hopefully the time you do get to spend when you go for it is a good time but it's totally OK to not feel up to it sometimes.

Voice calling people online will always be a little nerve wracking especially for the first time with someone :'D I feel like the change between talking to someone via text vs. voice can be quite different. I used to clam up and be one of those people who would type in all voice chats because I'd be too nervous to speak. I'm a lot more OK with it nowadays but it helped that I had friends who liked using voice chat.

Do you have any favourite dogs? For me cats and dogs have always been quite equal, they're both cute so it's hard to decide :( But if I had to pick one, I'd love to own one of those tuxedo cats. They're super cute.

Hope you've had a chance to VC with your brother, Discord is a good way to catch up with people! I'll often text my sister on Discord even though we live in the exact same house. We'll send each other cursed Tweets at like 3am.. it's a good way not to have to move out of bed. And yes the tracking playtime feature can be nice - what games are you thinking of tracking it with?

Though I got called out once for playing Genshin Impact for 18 hours in a row... in my defence 10 of those were probably me sleeping but definitely caused some concern.

That sounds so fun @ ORAS! Honestly there are so many unloved Pokémon that need some love, you should definitely give that run a try. I had a Delcatty as a kid and copied the moveset of the anime one. Think she had Thunderbolt, Blizzard, and Solar Beam. Using that was honestly soo painful lmao.

Sorry for the slow replies, been dealing with persistent health issues lately and my health anxiety isn't making it any better. Am sure it's nothing serious but I can't stop overthinking and that makes it hard to focus on anything, even games.. :( I really need to get a handle of my healthanxiety since it causes high blood pressure which isn't a good thing to deal with longterm. Doctor mentioned we can get some free psychologist sessions here in Australia under the national health scheme so I'm gonna look into that.

10 minutes before I lose focus and stop! I absolutely need to be doing something when shiny hunting or it gets way too boring. I really do want that shiny Shaymin though so hopefully some day ~

I'm soo sorry about that school wth. Staff being abusive is even worse than students, what?! I really hope that teacher who never got into trouble eventually got caught. Freaking awful and it makes me so upset to know this stuff happens and nothing is sometimes done about it.

Water monotype was fun for me in Crystal and I wish I could have finished that one without the save file corrupting. Electric also seems fun, and honestly even grass because of how underrated that type is.. oof. It sucked so much in gens 1 and 2 especially I feel. Such bad movesets.

Legends isn't considered a spinoff I don't believe, since the creators refer to it as a core game - it just takes the series in a bit of a different direction. But I can definitely see the confusion.

I'm very much the type of person to just quickly look up a guide if I get stuck. Guides for games like Pokemon are helpful too to have an idea of where to find specific Pokemon or items, would be lost without them. :'D

That sounds fun, being so close to the stage would be great for a concert. I've only ever sat at the very far back for concerts but luckily it's still just as good of an experience. I did see they dropped the new Mario Kart DLC! I'd never bought it myself but I have friends who own the first DLC so I do get to play if we do multiplayer. I didn't realise the Sydney course existed but that's the one I'm looking forward to trying the most. And I'm very excited to be seeing Mushroom Gorge again. But yeah it is a bit pricey unfortunately, I think that's just the nature of a lot of DLC these days though :(
