  • HackMew is there a way to diasble the start menu through a script of with a hex editor? I'm using writebytetooffset to change the player for a mingame and I need to disable the start menu so the player doesn't turn back to normal on the menu close.
    Thanks Hackmew, my script worked. My second question is: Is there a way to keep the change? Or is it only possible through ASM?

    Third question:
    I've been trying to adapt MM_X's Fancy knowledge #3 two musics in one event to Pokemon Ruby.
    So far, I've adapted everything correctly for Ruby and found all the offsets except for one. The only offset I could not find is the channel table for Ruby:

    [9C 32 4A 08] // channel table (usually you don't have to change it)

    @ NeoNemesis Well, the FireRed pointer is stored at 0x02020648, actually. Anyway, the Ruby one is stored at 0x02020010. Note: the sprite will get back to normal as soon as you enter/leave a map.

    I've been trying to write a script using writebytetooffset. Do you know the pointer to the main OW graphics in Pokemon RUBY AXVE? I know the one for FireRed, it's 02020649, but I can't find it for Ruby.

    Hi HackMew. I'm trying to make a script which moves an overworld (not a virtual or the player) to a point. But, instead of using fixed X/Y coordinates, I want to use varibles. I have tried movesprite, but this does not seem to work. I need a command like this but it must not be laggy, as I need to call it often from a level script. Thanks in advance, countgrim

    Hello. You have probably been asked this before but is there a way to enable the national pokedex in ruby?
    I've been planning on using the gameshark code to "unlock" the national pokedex like pokemon naranja but I think that would make my hack lok sloppy. Is there a way to do it?(I don't mind hex editing oranything.)
    I think I liked the simple face of Mewtwo better =O
    It's a personal preference of mine, although I do guess others like it :P
