I'm on a quest to bring Disturbed back to the hacking world.. if you don't mind, could you drop him a VM saying you want him back, if you do? He said he'd come back if I could get 25 people to say so.. I'm aiming for 40.

Well, the members still vote, but they don't pick the hacks any more.. I think it'd be a good idea to implement the members more, but then it would turn into a bigger, more dramatized Hack of the Week, which is what we don't want Hack of the Month to be. So I guess the method they have in place now works fine.. well, better than HotW.

Yeah. What we all should be going for these days is the Hack of the Month. Not only does it secure your place in HotY nominations, or whatever, but it stickies your thread, and you get put in the Hall of Fame. The only thing I dislike about the HotM is that all of the hacks are chosen by moderators..

I wouldn't expect you to. It wasn't much when it was in a thread here, anyways. Hell, it's not much now.. it's embedded in my head, though.

The way I see Hack of the Week is a little different from most people.. basically, I view it as acceptance of the people. If you win the HotW, your hack must have something that the people like, so then it's probably going to be a good idea to keep going the general direction that you're going. However if you don't win the HotW, you've got some serious work to do, whether it's on your storyline, or graphics, or something. At least, that's my opinion.

I don't think you'd know it, but it's called Pokémon Rebirth. It won HotW #46. Not like winning HotW is much to say about it..

haha me either, i was so excited when platinum came out i had the game on hold since december and got it the same day it came out :D

hahaha yeah i heard about the new remakes. i am so excited, the night i found out i was having a horrible day and that made my night so much better :D
