Roleplay Sample (Cont.)

[h2][/h2]Jonathan was snapped out of his trance when Ronny gave him a friendly shove on the shoulder. He looked around to see that they were finally in the Safari Zone. It was wonderful. Pidgey flew overhead. Diglett burrowed underneath them. The trees were filled with Burmy and Wormadam. Miltank and Mareep grazed on the grass. A Ponyta ran by. Two Lilligant danced in the sunlight and a Vaporeon cuddled with her baby Eevee. Jonathan had never seen this many Pokémon in one place. It was amazing.

Jonathan watched as Dario and Ronny walked off in separate directions, each searching for a specific Pokémon. He decided to set off.

He walked through a desert area and saw many Pokémon. But all the Sandshrew, Golett and Cubone, plus the occasional Sigilyph or Gligar didn't interest him. He trekked on.

He looked around a grassland area next. There were a few interesting Pokémon, like Teddiursa and Bulbasaur, but he wanted a Water-type. He came to a pond next.

Jonathan sat down and put his feet in the water. He grabbed some of the Pokémon food he had recieved and placed it gently in the water, letting it float. Many of the pond Pokémon approached the food, but they didn't get it. Something else did.

In a matter of seconds, a Piplup ran up to Jonathan and leaped into the pond, followed by a Nuzleaf who stopped at the pond's edge. As it gave an angry look, Jonathan guessed it was chasing the Piplup, who then taunted the Nuzleaf with, "Pip pip pip lup pip!" He then swam over to Jonathan and ate the food. It stared at Jonathan as if it was still hungry. Jonathan decided to catch it. He grabbed a Safari Ball and gently touched Piplup with it. The ball rolled three times and clicked, luckily landing in the grass.

Jonathan then named the Piplup King. About a week later, the two have grown stronger. Now he's ready to begin his journey!

Appearance: Aon is a tall, slender boy. Standing at just a hair below 6 feet 5 tall, and weighing exactly 147 pounds. He has dull, blue eyes – but if you didn't look at them long enough, you would think they were simply grey. He has short pitch-black hair, with his bangs not quite coming down half way of his forehead. His face is a simple one, with very blank expressions on his mouth and eyes. His head is sort of a U shape, with the chin ending it at a point. He wears a pair of glasses, with no frame on the bottom of them. They also help block the sun out his eyes.

He wears knee-length navy blue jeans and a bright pink v-neck. Along with this, he also carries a dull orange bag that he carries on his left side as it loops through his belt loops. He wears a pair of light blue sneakers with white highlights and white ankle socks. This is his main style, but he sometimes decides to wear different colored shirts. For colder climates, he wears his light but very warm dark blue winter coat. It rests inside his bag, in case he ever needs it.

Personality:
Aon is a calm-minded individual, often keeping to himself. While he doesn't avoid crowds or groups purposely, he is constantly busy with other activates that he doesn't have time to join them. He is also often forgetful and has a minor memory problem, due to an accident with his Pineco. Aon is often optimistic about events, except in the face of danger where he would turn into the complete opposite - a pessimist. He is also fascinated with bug Pokemon, along with grass types.

Starter Pokemon: Pineco. (Female, no nickname.)

Starters traits/personality:
This Pineco is one that would rather hide away than battle. She prefers to stay in her pokeball than go outside, so Aon would often need to force the Pineco out her pokeball just to eat. Needless to say, she is a lazy pokemon. Pineco hates being injured, so if she feels threatened she will attack in a burst of anger.

Roleplay Sample:
Don looked around, noticing how dark it was getting. He scolded himself, knowing that he was late getting home. His legs were getting tired from walking all day long. Dons goal was to catch a bug Pokemon, as he wanted to get a head start at training Pokemon. He never gave up, however he noticed how he only had one more Pokeball left. He sighed at the thought of his father being disappointed that he lost nine Pokeballs and didn't get a single Pokemon.

He continued to walk towards the exit that would lead to Azalea Town, the last pokeball in his left hand, just incase he saw any extra Pokemon that didn't flee, and he did. Don spotted a Noctowl, a very rare sight. While he wanted a different kind of Pokemon, he couldn't say no to this rare chance – so he threw the Pokeball. His efforts were in vain. The Noctowl quickly flew away, leaving the sense quickly. Don jogged over to find the ball, but he couldn't spot it anywhere.

"Dang it!" He said, sighing heavily. In his despite, he simply kicked the nearest tree. "Well, things simply couldn't get worse, so that's something." As he began to sit down on the ground to rest, he heard a thud on the ground beside him. He quickly glanced over and saw a green-ish blob land before he blacked out from an explosion.

Don woke up around 5 feet away from where he sat beforehand. His vision was blurry, and his glasses were flung a foot away from his head. He reached for the pair, and he carefully slide them on. He blinked a few times, regaining his focus. He painfully sat up, having to use both hands to push himself up. Across from him laid a Pineco, fainted from the Self-Destruct move it used in self defense. Don realized he had to save the Pineco, and himself, from a night in the forest. Don painfully picked himself up and carried himself towards the fainted Pokemon. He picked up the Pineco, and wrapped both arms around it to carry it. Thankfully, thought Don, that Pinecoes weigh less than they look.
Once Don reached the end of the forest, he felt better and was no longer sore, so he jogged to the local Pokemon Center to get healed up. At the center, the wait was around 30 minutes long. While waiting, a local came up and asked if the Pineco was his, and Don denied. When the local asked if he would like a special pokeball to catch the Pineco. Don agreed, but said "Well, it's truly up to the Pineco really." The local handed Don a Pokeball with a blue top with black markings resembling a net before walking out. Don watched the local walk out when he was called over by Nurse Joy. Don thanked the Nurse while picking up Pineco and leaving. When he stepped outside, he asked the Pineco "Do you want to come with me?" with the answer of her cry and tapping her on the Net Ball Don was holding.
