  • Since Pokemon Silk is gone since the old PC crashed and i had to get this one, i had to restart the game. But don't fear, the game is even better in my opinion....

    EDITED (1) : HEAD TO THE 4th Page and up to see what the game is like now.
    EDIT 2:
    the game now features:
    CBS= Custom battle system
    A CMS= Custom Menu System.
    A Time system.
    A day/Night system= goes between day and night)
    A "Poke-Cyber" (something like a poke-gear from GOLD/SILVER)
    And many more.

    As you can See, I've numbered off Each of the screens in sequence.
    I'll go through them.
    1: Before you get into a wild battle- the "!" appears over the hero's Head.
    2: This screen just shows the wild pokemon (in this case- Zigzagoon)
    3: The 3rd screen is taken mid-way through Battle.
    4: the 4th is of the end.

    I hope you like. I'd love to hear your comments-

    Oh and to Esai: As of yet, you'll only get to see the towns/cities....

  • The maps look excellent.
    But no offense the bag looks terrible.
    You really need to fix the background.
    Its way off color and strectched.

  • The hero's hair is a slightly different colour in those screens.. I think you're bag system needs a bit of work but it is a good start.. Graphics aren't everything and can be changed easily, but if you say you have a different panarama for each item then I think you aren't thinking too logically.. Do you know how to use the show picture command? Pictures are a bit harder to do things with but a lot more flexible. It might save a little space when compiling the game :)

    You may want to make the bag system a bit more like the PC sys if you want to do show the items in the current way you're using.

  • yeah, i agree. i need someone to make the hero sprite look a bit better- i aint that good at spriting.... (any takers?? )
    lol ofcourse i know how to use the picture command ^ ^ but i decided to try something different, and it was easy (when i say easy- i mean quick) to code.
    Please, anyone got a good bag panarama?

  • The colors look really flat and the pictures are stretched. It looks like you've converted it to a 256color.bmp in mspaint, which screws up the colors. You should use Paint shop pro for reducing the colors used as you don't get much, if any, color loss with that programme. You could do the bag system the way Krazy did for the group project, with the panarama and the bag as a picture.

  • sorry for double post- but no1 is replying.... :S

    I have some more screens. I finished off the menu system completely, so i put together 3/4 screenshots (of ingameplay stuff) and put them all together as 1 pic in MSPaint.

    to -virtual- : do u not like the one with the yellow border- i think it makes it look better- eh wait hang on- thwe pic aint showing- here it is again:

  • it's not the boarder, but the graphics are off-colour

    i've made the my own bag, i'm not sure if everything is at the right place
    but you can use it if you want it :D

    and this bag is similiar to the bag in the battle system..(if i'm not mistaken)
    so if you guys want, you can put it in there too... ;)

    don't worry, it's 256colours

  • Sorry for double post (but no1 was replying..) :(

    Kanto region will be in my game, so heres a screen (well its the map) of Pallet Town. It is done to the exsact same size as in the Firered/leaf green games (as i was making it, i made sure i had it perfect)- so yeah- this will probly be the best anyone will ever get it on RM2K/3 (cause its the same- size- and everything is right)

  • It's very close, but not exactly the same. SB and I have it almost exact in our game. Here's a map of Pallet Town look at the centre path compared to yours:
