    • Day 17: What would you like a new Pokémon to be based on?

    This sounds a little cliché, but I would want another cetacean-based Pokémon. In other words, a dolphin or a porpoise would seem fitting. It's Pokémon Sun and Moon now, and they should have already conceptualized a dolphin Pokémon.

    • Day 18: Favourite Gym Leader

    I've always loved Misty! I thought she was super funny in the anime and I've always been fond of her personality and design, and being a Water-type leader is always ace. But I have heaaaaps of favourites - Morty, Erika, Jasmine and Winona are probably my other favourites - I'm not sure how to describe it but they all just have this really cool vibe about them that I love. Like they seem like the Cool Kids of the Gym Leader Club.

    Day 18: Favourite Gym Leader

    Overall, Jasmine. In a world of crazy hairstyles and over-the-top costumes, it's nice to see someone who tones it down a bit. Jasmine has a simple, elegant, quite beautiful design that I've always been fond of, and she has a kind, caring personality. Seeing her again in Sinnoh was an added bonus. Plus she's a Steel-type Gym Leader, and I do love steel-types.

    In the anime, though...Byron. Byron dubbed is the greatest thing to come out of the anime in years.

    Burgh is my favorite for at least three reasons:

    1. He looks so sexy!
    2. He's an artist. 'Nuff said.
    3. He uses Bug-type Pokémon. Plus points for having Whirlipede.

    Day 9 Favourite Pokémon type
    - Fighting, hands down. I absolutely love using this type and oftentimes the Fighting type on my team is the one that carries me through the game.

    Day 10: Least favourite Pokémon type
    - I honestly don't really have a least favorite though Electric is one that I'm not a huge fan of typically due to the paralysis it can cause and its one of the few types that I basically never use on my teams.

    Day 11: If you were a Pokémon, what would you be?
    - A Buizel, duh! XD

    Day 12: Favourite Pokémon attack or move
    - I absolutely adore Aqua Jet! It is Buizel's signature move and I love its priority. Other great moves are Water Shuriken, Flying Press and Aura Sphere.

    Day 13: If you lived in the Pokémon world, what would you be? (eg Trainer, Gym Leader, Breeder, Co-ordinator, etc)
    - A Trainer, no doubt about it. I would love being able to go through the trials of a journey with my Pokemon partners and creating bonds that will last a lifetime

    Day 14: If you were a Gym Leader, what would be your specialty?
    - Probably Fighting since that is my favorite type. My team would consist of something like Infernape, Mankey/Primeape, Poliwrath, Hawlucha, Riolu/Lucario, and Hitmonchan

    Day 15: Favourite region in the Pokémon world
    - Thats a tough one. It is between Sinnoh and Kalos and after having just played through X again recently, I'm leaning towards Kalos right now

    Day 16: If you could live anywhere in the Pokémon world, where would it be?
    - I would live in either Oreburgh City or Ambrette Town. There is something so peaceful about living in those places. A runner up would be Lumiose and Nimbasa City as I find those two places to be very beautiful and exciting.

    Day 17: What would you like a new Pokémon to be based on?
    - I'm not very creative and not really great about thinking about what has already been done so I'm not really gonna be able to answer this one lol

    Day 18: Favorite Gym Leader
    - I'm a big fan of Wulfric. I just think he's awesome and I approve of the Ice type specialty lol I also am a fan of Koga, Morty, Jasmine, Chuck, Claire, Flannery, Roark, Candice, Clay, Skyla, Korrina, and Olympia.

    Goldenrod City, I have always been a city kid and Ecruteak City is still closeby, plus you have the park outside of the city. And plus points for being in Johto

    Day 17: What would you like a new Pokémon based on?

    Hmm, thought about this for a few minutes. I honestly have no real idea, there have been so many, and I am not really the most creative in creating something completely new. Maybe... my fan? Oh wait, there wasn't there a Rotom form based on that? Well, that was my try.

    Day 18: Favourite Gym Leader

    I always liked Morty from Ecruteak City. His design looked good, and the gym was rather simple and fun. Also enough scary for a Ghost gym, I liked it.

    For me, it's Marlon from B2/W2. He has a design that definitely represents the type well, but other than him I do love Unova's Gym Leaders since they're all unique in design, but I love all the Water-type specialist ones as well since it is my fave time.

    Day 18: Favorite Gym Leader

    This, undoubtedly has to be Giovanni. The battle against him is the culmination of two different quests in the first generation, the Gym Leader Challenge and defeating Team Rocket, the only reason the battle against him isn't seen as a final boss battle is because you have to battle Blue at the end. Furthermore, his preferred type is badass, and contained some of the most awe-inducing Pokémon from Gen 1, like Nidoking, Nidoqueen and Rhydon. Lastly, dat suit.

    • Day 19: Favourite Elite 4 member/Champion

    It's got to be Lance. He was the original badass E4 member, and then became Champion in Johto. Sure, he had slightly underlevelled Dragonite but he had a great design and was just the epitome of cool, which I love hahaha.

    I remember when I was a kid and was playing Crystal, I had finally reached the Champion after so many failed attempts at getting through the E4. Battling with Lance was intense, and it was my final Pokémon (Pidgeot) versus his last Dragonite. I remember being on very low HP (I think he used Hyper Beam) and taking ages to choose my last make-or-break attack, but managed to defeat him by such a slim margin. Definitely one of my favourite battles haha.

    • My favourite champion is Cynthia. The first female champion and the only champion for me who stood a real challenge with a great all rounded team. I loved her role in the games, particularly in Platinum when she helped you along in the Distortion World. To me she felt like the only Champion who had actual character progression and helped you multiple times through your journey just like a Champion should. I like her style, her team, her attitude and overall she's just a great character!

    Day 19: Favorite Elite Four member

    I have to go with Koga on this one. Want to talk about character development and progression? How about we talk about the former Gym Leader who got promoted to Gym Leader? Sure, he doesn't interact with your journey other than to be an obstacle in both generations, but his story writes itself. Also, Crobat. Also, ninja stuff.

    It was, is, and will always be Shauntal. Here are some reasons why:

    1. She uses Ghost-types.
    2. I like her hair.
    3. Her outfit is awesome.
    4. I like purple.
    5. GLASSES.
    6. SHE IS LEFT-HANDED. You don't normally see left-handed people that much in pop culture.

    Day 19: Favourite Elite 4 member/Champion

    Cynthia. Cynthia was just so...involved. She felt like a real part of the world, rather than just a motionless figure standing at the end of it. I loved seeing her pop up at random times, getting really involved in the Team Galactic story, and actually having a backstory of sorts as well.

    Plus, her themes. Two of the best themes to come out of Pokemon, ever. That sexy little piano number that starts playing and gets your heart racing just walking up to her, followed by another fantastic Champion theme in a long line of them, makes the battle memorable even before you consider how varied and surprisingly challenging her team is.

    Her little cameo in Unova felt like an apology for how awful Black was, too. xD

    • Day 19: Favourite Elite 4 Member/Champion

    This was hard to pick so I'll split it. My fave Elite Four members are a tie between Shauntal and Caitlin due to the fact they use some powerful Pokemon and I do love both Ghost and Psychic-types. Siebold also gets a nod for using my fave type and his team actually being able to put up a challenge if you go in unprepared.

    For champions I don't seem to have a clear favourite since I'm not into the ones that have massive fanbases (such as Steven and Cynthia) but I do have to give credit especially to Iris for having what I call the most unique champion battle theme in the series, and while I don't like her in the anime it was this nice buff in B2/W2 that made up for it.

    • Day 08: Favourite Pokémon media (eg games, animé, etc)
    I'm a fan of the games and merchandise very much! I love collecting cute things and Pokémon just has so many great merch to own.. a lot of lovely figures and toys. The games are obvious since they're a lot of fun and provide hundreds of hours of entertainment. Going through a new region for the first time is an irreplaceable experience.

    Day 09: Favourite Pokémon type
    Electric. <3 I've been a fan for a long time ever since I saw Pikachu in the anime series. Love electricity as an element. Also like grass and ghost a lot too though.

    Day 10: Least favourite Pokémon type
    Never felt a connection to most fighting types. =( Brute force mons aren't that cool to me, there are very very few I like but the ones I do like are really cool (Mienshao and Hitmontop).

    Day 11: If you were a Pokémon, what would you be?
    I feel Diancie fits me most, especially in mega form, it's almost like my spirit Pokémon. She's very girly and polite which matches up well with how I act irl. Owning several of them (a shiny included) is very lucky!

    Day 12: Favourite Pokémon attack or move
    Most strong electric moves! Bolt Strike for the awesome animation and Thunderbolt for its reliability. Also loved Electro Ball in the anime primarily for looks.

    Day 13: If you lived in the Pokémon world, what would you be? (eg Trainer, Gym Leader, Breeder, Co-ordinator, etc)
    Joining the trainer group, who doesn't want to train a team full of their favorites?! I'd definitely want to travel so being a gym leader's out of the question since I would likely be confined to a single place. Coordinator is another fun choice so I can collect ribbons and think of dazzling strategies to woo the audience but man as if I have that creativity. I'll watch from the sidelines as a trainer and enter from time to time!

    Day 14: If you were a Gym Leader, what would be your specialty?
    Speed and electric types, though I sure wish I could say dual type electric and grass... heh. >.>' I love fast Pokémon that can cause paralysis and also pack a punch too. Emolga is especially underrated which I guess is understandable since it's fragile and doesn't provide much other electrics can't but I love outspeeding everything and taking down enemies with Acrobatics (w/ no held item for double power).

    Day 15: Favourite region in the Pokémon world
    Unova! I fell in love with the area at first sight. It's very immersive and has a breathtaking soundtrack. I'd recommend giving Celestial Tower a listen if you haven't yet! Plus it introduced some of my favorite Pokémon and characters, like Whimsicott and Cheren.

    Day 16: If you could live anywhere in the Pokémon world, where would it be?
    Do I have to pick one place to live in? =( Maybe Ecruteak for its rich history but my inner Unova love is screaming Castelia City for its resemblance to NYC. As someone who lives here and loves the city it'd be cool to live in a Pokémon equivalent. Hard to get bored, plus easy access to other great places surrounding it.

    Day 17: What would you like a new Pokémon to be based on?
    More sheep or goats because of bias. I'd love a dolphin as well though, very much.

    Day 18: Favourite Gym Leader
    Cheren in B/W2! Also Cilan and Morty. From the girls, Winona because she's absolutely beautiful.

    Lovelies! Drasna's personality is so lighthearted and sweet but as a dragon user she packs a punch and that really adds to her charm as a character to me. I love E4 members who are kind but have a hidden tough side that they show through Pokémon battles. Shauntal has a very unique design so she was always a favorite, same goes for Grimsley. Siebold is primarily eyecandy so yeah. ;'p Ha.

    Steven I am veeery biased towards. He is so sweet and got such a deserved, expanded role in ORAS which I was really happy about!

    • As much as it pains me to say it, my Favourite Elite Four member has to be Lance, even though he was super tough his team was really cool and... that cape 0_0

    In this case I'll choose a different champion even though technically Lance is one too. So my favourite champion is definitely Blue, just for nostalgia's sake :3

    Day 15: Favourite region in the Pokémon world
    Whilst I adore Sinnoh, there is so much beauty in the Hoenn region. I love its abundance of water and the volcanic area. I imagine that Alola will similarly appeal to me on account of it being an island region, with plenty of surrounding water features.

    Day 16: If you could live anywhere in the Pokémon world, where would it be?

    If I could live anywhere in the world of Pokémon, I would probably like to live in Pacifidlog Town. I would love to be that close to the water, plus the town's small size would prevent me from being overwhelmed due to social anxiety. I can imagine it being very tranquil, so this was the first place that sprung to mind.

    Day 17: What would you like a new Pokémon to be based on?
    I've always wanted a bottlenose dolphin Pokémon, as it is one of my favourite creatures. I would also adore a Parasaurolophus Pokémon, as it has been my favourite dinosaur since I was a child.

    Day 18: Favourite Gym Leader

    After much consideration, I have decided to choose the adorable Jasmine. Firstly, I love her scene with Ampharos in Gold/HeartGold which shows just what a sweetie she is. As someone who is also quite shy, Jasmine is easy to relate to. Additionally, I was so surprised to see that this cute and caring lady was in fact the owner of an incredibly difficult-to-beat Steelix. Whilst it was only a small cameo, I was delighted to see her return in Pearl. Honourable mentions go to Viola, Misty and Sabrina.

    Steven Stone is my favourite champion, owing to his extensive role in ORAS which allows for a more developed characterisation than the other champions. Steven just seems like such an awesome guy to be around IMO.
