The World:
Pokemon is not a game – it never has been. Well, maybe the games released for the Gameboy, Advance, Xbox, Nintendo 64, DS, etc; but here, in the real world, Pokemon sometimes aren't considered the partners of humans. With over six hundred species of Pokemon, some being more dangerous than others, different conflicts have arisen.
The streets of every city, state, or country are infested by gangs or of Team Globus, the combined teams of Team Rocket, Team Galactic, Team Aqua, and Team Magma. With the strength of all five teams combined, Team Globus is responsible for many of the bank heists that have taken place across the world, is responsible for hosting many underground Pokemon matches; is responsible for selling Pokemon to many gangs, and is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Pokemon and humans alike.
But the acts of Team Globus haven't stopped the annual national and world-wide league battles hosted around the world. When people graduate high school, they are eligible to sign-up to receive a trainer ID. Since battling Pokemon without a trainer ID has become illegal around the world, many people try for this, but not many succeed (a study shown that only around 38% of those who sign-up received their IDs). Those that succeed usually travel around their nation, or the world, to collect badges. And when a trainer has a specific number of badges, they are eligible to enter into their nation's league.
Every year, though, there are three students within different high schools in different states that are chosen to get their trainer IDs early due to outstanding academic and simulation-battling scores. These three students, from each state, are allowed to choose one Pokemon from their S.P.B (School Pokemon Battle) team, and then they are allowed to travel the world. But these students face many different obstacles, whether good or bad, and it is up to them to change the course they take.

The Plot:
Within your state, you are one of the three students chosen to get your trainer ID early. It is up to you whether or not you want to challenge different state gyms or just travel the world. But problems will plague your path – Team Globus being one – as well as love, betrayal, hate, sadness, grief, anger, and greed. Will you give in to the problems you have to face, or will you become a 'hero' and beat back your own emotions and Team Globus? You might want to think carefully about your answer…

Christopher R. Jacobson (Zero) played by myrrhman
Spoiler:
Name: Christopher R. Jacobson (Zero)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 165 lbs.
Physical Appearance: Zero is a fairly tall (about 6'2") boy that never seems able to get enough sun. His skin is quite pale, but not too much. Although he doesn't way much for a boy his age, he still has some muscle on him. He's grown to be pretty nimble and flexible, because he liked to climb trees when he was young to think about stuff. His eyes look like the bluest of oceans, and his hair black like the darkest of nights. His hair drops down to about mid-back length in the back and is really short in the front. He never lets it get in his eyes. It is always messy, and despite his mom's best attempts, he keeps it that way. His face is always clean, there are no blemishes on it, and he makes sure to keep his teeth white to contrast his hair. He loves blue and black, and always wears the same navy jacket over his black tee. He wears blue and black striped athletic shorts and black flip flops at all times, even when he knows he's going to be hiking.

Personality: His friends call him Zero because of his innate ability to zero in on an opponents weakness. He's very quiet, always thinking. When he talks, he can seem rather harsh at times, but that's only because he hates people not thinking ahead, and gets onto them when he feels they should have seen something coming. For this reason, he didn't have many friends early on in his life, but the ones he did have completely understood him and quickly came to think like him.
Zero himself is very smart. With a GPA of just shy of 4.5, he was the smartest kid in his school. He didn't have friends because he was the "typical nerd", he didn't have friends because of how cold and mean he seemed.

History: Zero's family is from Knoxville, one of the four largest cities in Tennessee. The only two things Zero cares about in the world are sports games (just from his favorite college, UT) and Pokemon. He has always felt that morons didn't deserve Pokemon, that they would just get hurt or killed by their own stupidity. He, on the other hand, needed Pokemon to protect the aforementioned morons from themselves. So, he enrolled in a Pokemon School at an early age, and quickly became the top of the class. Many of the students there were jealous of his smarts, a few of them tried to be his friends, only to be turned down due to their inability to think ahead far enough. However, there were a few of the students there that Zero liked, and they quickly became friends.

Recurring Characters:
Spoiler:
Christopher R. Jacobson:
Commonly known by his nickname, Zero, Chris is the main protagonist in Myrrhman's RP. He is from Knoxville, TN, and currently attends Farragut High School, in Farragut, which is a suburb of Knoxville. He is brilliant when it comes to Pokemon, both in theory and battling, and is undoubtedly going to be chosen as one of Tennessee's three individuals who receive their Trainer ID early.
Chelsea:
Zero's high school girlfriend. She is one of the few friends he has. Always trying to treat him to dinner (but never succeeding), she is very proud of Zero, but will also miss him.
Brian Dannewitz:
Zero's best friend in high school. Everyone calls him Dannewitz because come on, its a funny last name. Dannewitz isn't quite as smart as Zero, but is still in all the AP classes with him. He really understands Zero, and Zero can always confide anything in him. But, he's not serious if he doesn't have to be, and can oftentimes be heard calling Zero fake pet names when they're around Chelsea, just to mock her.
Professor Ayala:
Zero's AP Pokemon 101 Teacher. Brilliant and funny (often claiming color blindness because he's too lazy to name stuff by its color, and likes to watch his students run around the class in frustration looking for something he's trying to get them to give him. However, in recent times, he's become much more serious, ever since the news started covering the story of a couple of missing trainers. This may be because he knows that Zero is about to receive his Trainer ID. And he fears that Zero could be next.
Steven Rodgers:
Zeros Gym teacher. Very young to be teaching classes (in his 30's). Has many of the same tastes as Zero in music, TV, and hobbies. Treat's Zero as an equal, instead of treating him as inferior, which most of his professors do, or an inhuman being, which most of the students do. This is one of the reasons that Zero enjoys the Gym class so much.
Georg Hranov:
A tall, lanky, pale boy that goes to Zero's school and is one of his closest friends. His parents are from Bulgaria, and he is fluent in both languages, but he was born in America, and is more comfortable speaking English. Georg really understands how Zero's head works, and is the first person Zero will go to for a private conversation, other than Chelsea. Unfortunately, he's not the greatest battler. Zero really wishes he was as good of a battler as himself; he really wants some competition.
Gregory Steadman:
Principal of Farragut High School. A brilliant mind (he himself was also issued his trainer ID early), Steadman also has a doctorate in Pokemon Research. He began teaching as a research to learn more about the ways that students are being brought up in school and how they could be better prepared for the real world. Dr. Steadman quickly fell in love with this new field, and before long, was a Principal at FHS. He still serves on scientific boards and the such, but does not do nearly as much research as he used to. He does give a few optional lectures throughout each year, which almost every student always attends.

Raphael A. Newmeyer played by The Noob Hacker
Spoiler:
Name: Raphael A. Newmeyer
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 140 lb
Physical Appearance: Raphael is fairly tall and lean. His eyes, which are rarely seen due to the glasses he wears, are a dull hazel. He wears his dark brown hair long, almost down to his eyes. He also sports a thin ponytail in the back. Whether or not his face is cleanly shaved usually depends on the day, so he will sometimes have stubble on his chin and cheeks. He usually sticks to black clothing, almost always wearing a black jacket over a black or gray tee. His pants are on the slimmer side, but not compressing. These too, are usually black, or at least a darker blue. His footwear is darker and casual.
Personality: Socially awkward would be a nice way to concisely summarize Raphael's disposition. He is prone to trailing off in sentences, often lost in thought. He slips on his words due to trying what he wants to say too fast, being the perfectionist that he is, he would bring the entire conversation to a halt just to correct his mistake. This causes his speech to sometimes be stammering. When spoken to, he usually doesn't respond right away, as he takes his time to fully understand what was said, and longer to formulate a response.
When not engaged in conversation, he is usually lost in his never ending river of though, anything he sees can inspire a rush of thoughts and ideas. Because of this, he usually doesn't actively pursuit conversation. Regardless, he always found education more important than friends, and he never saw school as a social place either. Because of these thoughts, he has many philosophies and principles he often humors himself with.
History: Raphael was conditioned into the way he was by his early life. He wasn't always one who saw school above all else, and he didn't always see companionship as such a petty matter. Once, he was what is considered to be normal. But that was soon to change, as his family was always moving around from state to state. Every year, he would leave his school, and friends. At first he resented it, but after year after year of pains from lost friends, he came to accept it. To avoid the pains of loss, he stopped receiving. To occupy time he would've spent with others, he replaced with school work. Eventually, the void that was devoid of social interaction was filled by books and knowledge.
It was only a matter of time before his parents became concerned with his lack of social development, and they feared that it was because of their constant movement. So, they sent him off to boarding school, in hopes that settlement would mend his inability to relate and interact with others.
Alas, the void was already filled. Raphael no longer found comfort in being with others. Not even seeing familiar faces for years on end could not inspire the boy he had used to be. So, with no family, and no desire to make friends, all that was left were two things: School and Pokemon. The problem was, he could not yet have a Pokemon, so he resolved that he would strive to become one of the honor students to receive an ID early. With such a goal being the only thing to occupy his time with, it came as no surprise that he came out second to none.

Age: 16
Appearance:
Kris has semi-long, dirty blond hair. The bangs come to a point and either cover his right eye or hang just above it. He has hazel eyes and stands at about six feet three inches while weighing about a hundred and twenty pounds. He doesn't look very strong, but is pretty strong and very agile.

Kris sometimes wears a black beanie hat that only allows his bangs to show. He almost always wears a hoodie, usually his black and white checkered one that is lined with black faux fur. Concealed by his hoodie(s) is usually either a dark red or blue or jet black t-shirt. He normally wears dark black jeans and jet black sneakers with a white skull design and brown soles on them.
Personality:
Kris isn't the best when it comes to people. He is pretty anti-social and/or shy when around people. When he is around those that he does not know that are older than him, even if just by a little bit, he will usually keep his mouth shut and his head down. Though he is pretty good with little children and babies. When he is around adults he knows, he is a little more himself and and quite outgoing compared to when he's near those he does not know. When around people his age he knows, he is almost completely himself but still has those few things he keeps to himself.

He prefers pokemon over people and is very good with pokemon. They made up most of his friends when growing up since most kids either considered him to weird or too much of an @$$hole. Kris is also sometimes very easy to anger, which is another reason people didn't really get along with him. When not showing any of these quirks he is actually very smart and friendly, while also sometimes seeming like an idiot.
History:
Kris grew up a fairly average life. He was born in the town of Victor, New York, where he was raised. As he grew up, he was somewhat detached from people. He often snuck out to admire wild pokemon, as he couldn't have one of his own, yet. As he went to school, he studied pokemon as much as possible, quickly learning almost everything there was to learn about the pokemon world.

He often snuck out to admire wild pokemon, as he couldn't have one of his own, yet. As he went to school, he studied pokemon as much as possible, quickly learning almost everything there was to learn about the pokemon world.
These studies also helped him learn about Team Globus, the pathetic and vile swine that used to be Team Rocket, Galactic, Magma and Aqua. He hated them, he hated them as much as anyone could hate anything. They were the plague that was running loose in the world, and Kris believed they needed to be stopped. As he sharpened his knowledge on pokemon, he also expanded his knowledge on how to train them and make them stronger. He knew Team Globus was a dangerous group, but with his determination he could do anything - even take down Team Globus.
During his years of schooling Kris was an outcast, partly because he wanted to be, partly because other kids found him to be odd or an @$$hole. He didn't really care though, he preferred that people left him alone. This gave him more time for videogames and brushing up on pokemon. Due to this, he became very intelligent, which in turn allowed him to get his Trainer I.D. early, much to his delight.
