Be REALLY - Did u ever used cheats?

Be Really? Well that's a new one...

Anyways, no I haven't. I honestly don't know why I've never bothered cheating. I'm as lazy as they come. You'd think I'd be a master at cheating, but no.

Never, I have never cheated in any 1st, 2nd, 3rd Gen game, I only ceated in 4th Gen after I finished em because I was bored.

In Pokemon Sapphire. I had 200/202 in my Pokedex, only Feebas and Milotic left. I've lost the game now, but yeah, not a single cheat used EVER in that.

<obligatory "Be REALLY" joke goes here>

I have never cheated beyond using in-game glitches like the cloning glitches in Gold & Silver and Emerald. I've never used (or owned, for that matter) a GameShark or Action Replay or any of those things. For one, it takes the fun out of the game if there's no challenge and two, I like that sense of accomplishment from working hard to raise my pokémon.

I'll be really for you.

I used gamesharks on my emulators. That is all. Goodbye to you all.
xD
Sorry, I just had to.

first 3 playthroughs are cheat less. after that i get in on emulator and hack away ;D

by hacking i mean changing starter and moves in general. might make it so (say) poochena always holds ppmax or something... to be honest i made my battle frontier team suicune, gengar and tyranitar; all shiny, all with wonderguard, all ppmaxed out, all base stats 250... and gengar changed to ghost and dark lol.

but that was only my 7'th playthrough of emerald, mind you.

Only for house items in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Oh, and once to spawn a female Bulbasaur lol

Well, I have, and I still do.

Most of the time its just items and quicker day care.

However, I have(and still do) toy around with Pokemon Generators, and place them on there.

However, one cheat I hate is the all shiny cheat >=(

To get my Secret ID, I used the Action Replay. Other than that, unless you want to count RNGing as 'cheating', I haven't really cheated in any of my Pokemon Games. I don't think I ever will, either. :U

To be honest i never found a way to hack in my emerald version on my Game Boy,except for the clone glitch at the Battle Tower that i nerver used and there no reason to cheat because its ruinning the goal of the game.(Except if your done everything.)

I've used GS to get a couple of pokemon and upload 'em for a project.

Never once cheated in third gen. Partially because I didn't have the means to do it, but I'm also not really a fan of it. I cheated in first gen using the Missingno & Mew glitches but then didn't do it again until gen 4 when I downloaded event ROMs and used those to get event Pokémon--which isn't really cheating depending on your definition. @_@;

I'm gonna move this to General Gaming because while it could be an RSE/FRLG thread, I think it works better as a broad "Do you cheat in Pokemon games?" thread.

My stepbrother had a Game Shark, which I took once without telling him. I had no idea how to use it, though, I just remember having it in my GBC during recess. Beyond that, I've never used anything else.

I have only cheated while playing ROMs, just to make the game glitch. =P
I keep regular cartridges clean of cheats, because I dislike cheating in general.

The only time I have cheated is when I was playing ROMs on the computer. But I never have cheated on my cartridge games. And I don't ever intend to.

Pokemon Red and Blue (the old school) was full of tricks you could pull off like the safari zone/cinnibar island trick (also the masterball duplications) so you really didn't even need to use a gameshark to do some of that stuff... and yeah, back in the day I did.

I don't have things that I can totally hack out my guys with like Pokesav. I do have an AR, but I haven't even used it. My only intention with that really is to catch guys I couldn't normally get .. or lack the effort to be made. Tangela in DP for example. I have fire red, but it's incomplete.. I'm not gonna go through the effort for little Mr Fryguy when I can haxxor him. As far as legendaries go, I plan on hacking the events, not the pokemon themselves. Speical pokemon like the Battle Revolution Volt Tackle/Surf Pikachu I would hack the ID for so I could at least rename it. *hate friggin caps PIKACHU .. just looks so blah.

I'd also cheat on the coin case BS.. and getting TMs.. well, the ones associated with Coin Case. I always ALWAYS hated that stupid ass casino.

I used to cheat all the time.... even in 4th gen. Then, after awhile, I developed some kind of OCD that if I even SUSPECT that my poke is illegitimate, I get filled with this weird guilt. I can't even bring myself to cheat anymore. So now, all I ever do with my AR is get back the events I lost when starting a new game. (Which I obviously don't use)

I kind of cheat, but I have a respect for it.. ya know? like.. I want to PLAY the game and feel challenged. Thats why I bought it. Its just so boring when you can do whatever you want. But thats just the way I look at it.

I have a "clean" Pearl version which has no known cheats used or anything of that sort. I have a "dirty" Pearl ROM that I only use the run through wall hack. Here is an example:
Dawn: You must get permission from your parents before we let you pass
Me:Am like "Ill show you permission" *runs straight through a tree and out the other side"

Run through walls is very fun and its to skip pointless parts of the story that add nothing to the experiance, just annoy you.
