  • Just because it's Bioshock doesn't mean it's good.
    Don't be a fanboy.

As for me, I can wait. Even if I do plan to get it for the PS3, I'll still get a bunch of other games before this one. Hell, I find White Knight Chronicles and Golden Sun DS(when the time comes) to be more worth the money than Bioshock 2.
Because you're not a fanboy for any games, are you?

I bought the game on Thursday and I love it so far.

  • Finally beat it tonight. Anybody feel disappointed due to the lack of a final boss fight? It's not a huge deal, but I would have liked to beat the hell outta Sophia...

Anyways, anybody played the online yet? I played a few rounds, and I have to say I like it. It's not a MW2 breaker or anything, but it's fun for a little while.

  • Me and my mate played all the way though it in a day and were very disappointed. It just didn't have the same feel as the first game.

This is what happens when games are over-hyped. We expect a diamond encrusted experience, but all we get is a bronze, mediocre game. If it was a completely separate game, I think I would have liked it more, but because it had to live up to so much, it just didn't happen.

I've been hitting up a few rounds in Survival of the Fittest. It's easy winning, just gotta keep an eye out for Big Daddy suits. My favorite plasmid against players is Incinerate, because when you're down you still have a chance to kill your opponent. xD Sometimes it works.

It's gonna be a while till Rank 40. I'm only at 8 and BioShock 2 online really doesn't seem much to be ridiculously into, like how I am with Left 4 Dead and MW2, as in addictive.

I like the online multiplayer for it but it's a pain getting in a room. I played maybe one game per game type because after one game, everybody left.

It's fast for me. In fact, faster than any multiplayer I've ever played before. Anyways, I might be spending a little more time with the multiplayer than I originally thought. It's quite fun.

I haven't played it in two days, so chances are there are more players online. I'll have to try it out again. :P

  • I find the Multiplayer leveling system to be quite fun. I push myself to level up so I can get better masks for my character, haha.

My biggest problem with Bioshock 2 is the fact that I didn't actually feel like a big daddy throughout the game. Your steps don't shake the ground, only your jumps do. You don't make Big Daddy groans and moans. On hard, a few pistol shots take out 2/3 of your health. Splicers aren't scared of you. Your drill is incredibly underpowered. That is, until you get the Freezing Drill, Drill Vampire, Drill Specialist, Eve Saver, Eve Saver 2, Deadly Machines, Hardy Machines and all the Research Damage bonuses. Guns are useless when you've got a drill that powerful.

Security Command 3 is awesome. Same with Winter Blast 3.

Also, I couldn't help but feel that I've been there before. Sure there's new places, but it's all basically the same. Sofia Lamb is nothing compared to Ryan, and Sinclair sucks compared to Atlas. I miss Atlas and his Irish accent.

I agree with the latter part. The characters weren't near as epic as in the first game, which made me sadface. But you realize the Alphas don't make the ground shake either, and that's the closest thing to you in the game.(I was disappointed with the Alphas too, an Elite Bouncer owns those Alphas)

I know that Subject Delta is of the Alpha Series, and his armour isn't nearly as strong as the Bouncer, Rumbler and Rosie armour, but 3 pistol shots still shouldn't take out more than half of your health. And I also understand that Splicers are stronger now than in the past and that they think they have it in them to take out Big Daddies, but what kind of retarded retard would attack a Big Daddy with a wrench? Nevermind that you've got a hand full of fire or electricity and a huge ass drill.

I just got 17, one more for a decent weapon thank Zeus...

The multiplayer is fun, but I got serious lag problems and get thrown in matches that are really unfair (lv 20s vs lv 3s and I'm helping the lv 3s and they decide to spread out and the higher ranks stay together <.<)

Add me on 360 if you wanna play Bioshock 2 multiplayer with me, Gamertag is in top right of every single post, under post count.

I just hit 23 before my Xbox Live membership ran out, and I know it's going to take me for-god-ever to get to Level 40 for those two more achievements I need to get 1000/1000 for Bioshock 2.

I keep getting killed by the ele gun and its annoying...I rank up every 1-2 games so I'll level fast, I'm at my Dad's so I won't be able to get on :( But I got a year membership

  • I've finnished the game twice now and got all the achievements you can actually get in single player mode. ('Cept "beating the game on hard"):

It's real awesome and I love the story. I actually think I love the story in the second game more than in the first one. '-' But, even though the story was epic, the characters wan't as much. I like Ryan and Fountain much more than Lamb. >_>

    I haven't tested multiplayer yet, but I will. :]

I managed to get all 1000 gamerscore for it, and I was relieved when I did. It took me like three playthroughs, and about 30 hours on XBL to get to level 40.
