You shoudn't use codes to get all of the key items, as you may have more than one of the same key item (after using the codes), or you could cause a discrepancy in the game's code by having a key item before you should.

Okay I got that, I must have been doing something wrong the last time!

But I can't get them to work. Do I need to be someplace specific to catch who I want? I went back to Route 1 since I know sometimes in the past that's where you needed to be.

Unfortunitly, i cant get them to work either. Im gonna try again, then see what i can come up with.

Edit: Very interesting. In the cerulian cave, on land, all i run into is machokes. In grass by ceruaian , all i get is abras. In water, all i get is gold ducks. It seems asthough im getting all the rare pokemon in there areas.

I dont no, but its very confusing. I get a different pokemon in every different area, but thats all i run into.
