What do you do to start out with?
- Use Low Kick
- Use Leer
- Use Sand-Attack
- Use Faint Attack
- Switch in Snivy

Eventually the grass falls, and both are still standing. "Scraggy same combo, Leer then Faint Attack." you say calmly. Scraggy is really close to Oshawott flinches again, and gets hit hard after Scraggy disappears and hits him. Oshawott is K.O'd. "You did great Oshawott," says Linus, "Now come on out Pidove!" Pidove looks very determined, but Scraggy seems to have gotten a boost and lets out a cry, "Sc-Scraggy!!!".

"Scraggy use Leer!" the yellow and red Pokemon makes a smug face, and stares at Pidove. Linus smiles, 'Pidove, use Gust." Pidove charges at Scraggy then opens it's wings letting out a cry. Pidove flaps its wings letting out a burst of wing and dirt. Scraggy trys to block it but is overpowered and flies backwards. "Pidove has an ability named Big Pecks. It's Defenses can't be lowered." explains Linus. Scraggy is really weak and can't take another Gust. "Once again Pidove, Gust!" Pidove charges at Scraggy once again. "Quickly Faint Attack, Scraggy!" you almost scream. Scraggy disappears into a black mist. Pidove stops and looks around. Suddenly Scraggy appears above Pidove and slams it down. They both come down into the grass. Both the bird and Scraggy wait for commands. "Scraggy, use Faint..." you utter before Linus interrupts you, "Use, Quick Attack!" Pidove charges into Scraggy. Scraggy is sent sliding into the ground. It's K.O'd. "Scraggy you did great," you wink at Linus, "You ready Snivy!?" You throw the Pokeball. The grass snake pops out, "Sni-VY!!!" You wonder what to do next. Pidove gives out a slight pant, but still looks like it has least half health...

What move do you want to use?

The grass snake pops out, "Sni-VY!!!" You wonder what to do next. Pidove gives out a slight pant, but still looks like it has least half health...

You hope to do some damage, "Snivy, use Wrap!" Snivy runs toward Pidove and coils itself around Pidove. It's wings are trapped so it can't move. "Snivy, follow it up with Leaf Tornado!" you command Snivy. Snivy uncoils fast and leafs burst out of his tail. The leafs circle in motion and collide with Pidove with a loud crash. Then Snivy continues to use Wrap on Pidove, literary squeezing the life out of it. Linus seems annoyed, "Pidove use Quick Attack against the ground!" Pidove launches up as far as it can go with it's one wing, then swiftly comes face first against the grass. Snivy was hurt but not enough, and quickly returns to it's side of the field. "Snivy, use..." you're quickly cut off again, "Quick Attack, let's go!" shouts Linus. Pidove, now free from Wrap, blitzes toward Snivy. "Snivy dodge it and counter with Tackle." You say confidently. Snivy jumps up but is scraped with Quick Attack and flips in mid-air, but still lands the counter Tackle. Pidove hits the ground, hard, but gets up slowly. Linus stares at Pidove, "Don't give up," Linus makes a mean face, "Pidove, finish this with U-Turn!" Snivy gets smacked across the field with U-Turn. it took alot of damage and is really hurt. You're shocked and freeze in the moment.

Suddenly you are filled with excitement and rage, "Snivy ends this, Leaf Tornado, full force!" Linus is amazed by the power Leaf Tornado brings, but doesn't give up. "Pidove, looks like it's all or nothing, use U-Turn!" Snivy unleashes a wall of leafs, and sends them at Pidove. For a moment you couldn't even see Pidove, the leafs were everywhere. Int eh cyclone you could hear Pidove crying for help. Snivy is exhausted from the move.Slowly the leafs fall into the grass, as does Pidove. Linus runs to Pidove's recuse. "You meanie!" says the now teary Linus. He runs of to the Pokemon Center with you wondering if he's serious.

Later you slip outside with Snivy and Scraggy, after healing up at the Pokemon Center. "So what do you guys think, should we train on Route 2, or head straight to Striaton City for our first gym badge?" you ask them. Scraggy and Snivy deiced differently and start fighting about it. With the Pokemon cries in the background you think...

What next?
- Look for some more trainers
- Go catch a ____ on Route 2 (Pokemon listed here)
- Head straight toward Striation, and challenge the gym
- Head Straight toward Striation, and visit the Trainer School (and battle)

With the Pokemon cries in the background you think. After a while you suggest to catch a new Pokemon. Both Scraggy and Snivy were thrilled.

About 5 minutes later, you're running onto the green grass of Route 2. "I wonder." you ask yourself as you run into the tall grass. Suddenly you hear a slight purr noise coming from the grass. You investigate the grass looking though each patch. After a while the purr noise gets louder but you can't figure out where it's coming from. You turn around to leave the grass when you're hit in the back of the head with something. You swing around and notice a cute purple-ish cat licking itself. Pulling out the Pokedex you wonder what it is. The Pokedex replies, "Purrloin, The Devious Pokémon, Its cute act is a ruse. They steal from people for fun, but their victims can't help but forgive them. They are very sneaky and fast." You smile, "Fast, you say?" Quickly you challenge it to a battle and send out Snivy.

Purrloin establishes it's speed by first hitting Fury Swipes before you can call out a move. Snivy is being battered by the barrage of claws. Wowed by the speed you call out, "Snivy, use Wrap!" Snivy as fast as it can wraps itself around Purrloin, but it's still being hit by Fury Swipes and losing health by the minute.
