  • So. Which do you prefer, the heat or the cold? Or, if you had to choose between them which one would you pick and why?

    Personally, I love the cold but can tolerate the heat. I just know that heat brings insects ;A;

  • I prefer the cold. Mostly because I enjoy the clothing one wears with cooler weather. I find it more aesthetically pleasing... and I effing hate being too hot. I'm like, happiest when I'm bundled up.

    I much prefer the cold. It's a lot more comfortable, you can wear warm comfy clothes, and it feels like Christmas! <3 Whereas intense heat is just uncomfortable D:

    I simply tolerate both of them. On one hand, I dislike being sweaty and the sun becomes extremely unbearable, but the scenery makes it worth it while being able to go to the pool and go out and be more active than usual is a big bonus. On the other hand, I don't like having to wear socks indoors or wearing hoodies to bed because my bed is right next to a huge window, so my room is subject to the elements. In the winter, if I'm not in my room for most of the day, it gets freezing. However, I like the 'feel' of the cold in a way. It's chilling and can almost be cozy at times, and running outside when it's below freezing is actually fun, especially when you're only wearing a t-shirt and shorts. It makes you run even faster.

    So when it comes down to it, I tolerate both. Besides, I can eat cake year-round.

  • I prefer the cold. You can easily warm yourself up with a blanket or a sweater, but in the heat it's hard to cool down.

    The cold. You can find ways to warm yourself off, whereas cooling down is a lot harder to do.

  • The last two posts basically summed up what I was going to say about preferring the cold. Although, I have always liked the cold and snow anyway, having spent some winters in -30C/-22F without minding too much. On the flip side though, even when it gets to about 30C/85F around here, I find myself way too hot.

    Yep yep yep. I may live in Texas but that's not going to stop me from freezing then warming myself up with a blanket that's bigger than the universe and cozier than this moth. I am more than willing to pay extra in electric during Texas summers so I can freeze in my apartment. I'm about to rent one side of a duplex I specifically chose because the floors are mostly tile. I love the cold o-o

  • I'm uncomfortable in either.. but for some reason I find myself to be more intolerable of a temperature that's colder than having a temperature that's a little too warm. I guess I get cold easily.

  • I hate the heat. All that sun, all that sweating. Ugh. I generate enough heat on my own to make most "cold" days feel pleasant for me. Give me a cold day any day. Just not too cold.

  • As much as I hate winter, I'm going with cold. The heat brings misery to me. Mosquito, sinus issues, the constant feeling I'm melting. With the cold, you can at least get a blanket or even a jacket and warm yourself up, if you have to. Doing the reverse is harder without electric aid.

    I prefer cold because its way easier to throw on a blanket or sweater than to deal with the heat.

    I greatly prefer the cold. I don't mind the heat(so long as it's not humid) but the cold feels amazing. @_@

  • I prefer the cold so much over the heat. Heat is terrible, it's inescapable. Guys tend to run hotter than girls so I find heat unbearable while cold is always refreshing. My mother is always telling me that I need to put more clothes on because "if I'm cold, everybody's cold" but she can go to Hell.

    I like both the heat and the cold, but I can stand the heat much more than the cold. Most people would be like "damn, it's hot in here" and I would be sitting with a t shirt and a big coat on, and I would say "seriously, you guys are hot?" I think I don't feel the heat as much as others do.

  • The cold. Easier to get warm, and then I can snuggle up in aaaaaaall the coats and blankets. Having layers is fun! Also, I could walk forever in the cold. The air's so nice and crisp when it's cold outside.

    Most of the places I've lived have been hot and humid in the summer, so when I'm hot I get icky and sweaty and gross. I wouldn't mind the heat so much if it weren't for the humidity. :(
