Yeah, the title KIND OF makes sense. DEAL WITH IT, OKAY?!

This is an Other Roleplay RPG. I made the idea out of something me and a friend did by ourselves for fun, a long time ago.

SOME NOTES:
This RP is rated PG-16 for violence, alcohol/drugs, possible language and very slight sexual situations. (You know, cause of chastity/lust.) Nothing too harsh for the language and sex thing tho.

Um, I suppose any warnings will be this will be kind of gory and there are *some* religious tones? With the sins/virtues/demons/nephilim thing... -shrug- It won't go to anything serious, though, so don't worry. I'm just saying this for... really... sensitive people? IDK.

Also, in this RP, nephilim are like... half angel types of things. That's kind of what they are in the first place, but in this the meaning doesn't follow the EXACT definition.


RULES:
1) Good grammar. PLEASE.
2) Make your characters realistic. While this is a fantasy world, I don't want insanely unrealistic characters frolicking about.
3) No Gary Stus or Mary Sues. For everyone's sanity.
4) No godmodding.
5) No bunnying without permission.

BALANCE CONTROL OF: Lust. She chooses to deal with this by killing people who are too lustful by dreamwalking, generally by asphixiation or seemingly an overdose, and manipulating people who aren't lustful enough out of a dream. {see her powers}
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: Naturally a brunette, dyed raven black hair falls to her mid-back, pin-straight as she likes to keep it. Her ice blue eyes are usually lined with dark grey or black pencil. Her skin is slightly tanned. Standing at about 5'5'', she has a curvy physique, and weighs just above average for her age and height. Her face is thin, with prominent cheekbones and a heart shaped face. Arabella's eyes and mouth are narrow too, with a default expression of... to be honest, b.itchiness.
CLOTHING CHOICE: Heels and jewelery are her best friend. As long as it's flattering and flashy, she'll wear it. Her favorite outfits involve tunic-like shirts with leggings and boots with a heel. Colors vary, though she isn't a fan of orange, green, or pink. When dreamwalking to kill, she tries to wear clothes that are easy to fight in, or get an escape route if things turn sour.
PERSONALITY:
POWERS:
Dreamwalking: She can enter the dreams of others. Under the right circumstances, she can choose whose dream she wants to enter, but sometimes without proper preparation, she will dreamwalk into a random person's dreams or someone who was not her target. Unlike all dreams, if you're hurt or killed you wake up. But if she's in the dream, she can kill people and they will not wake up. And the same goes for her, if she is killed... well, she's dead. Another setback is that she isn't essentially sleeping when she is "fulfilling her destiny" in a dreamwalk. She has to be lucid and well aware of what is going on. So when she wakes up after a night of taking care of her duties, she is extremely fatigued. Some nights, she does not dreamwalk and thus does not dream. It is seemingly random, except if she is prepared.
Charm: Outside of a dream, if the person has a very weak will, she can essentially manipulate them, but using her voice and eye contact. But someone with a strong mindset or will, she cannot manipulate them. This power is strongest in her dreams. White noise interference, distractions, and loud noises can mess with this power.
WEAPON: None.
FIGHTING STYLE: Generally, Arabella verbally wears people down-- or tries to. Generally, with her preference of high-heeled footwear, when in an unexpected battle, she sure isn't nimble and quick. She can deliver a powerful kick though, and... well, hey, would you want to get kicked with a high heel? Most of the time she's put on the defensive, trying to create distractions and get out of the fight ASAP.

Hey, it's like a reunion! (I say reunion, but really our last known meet was GothamCity. Not a century ago...) Now all we need is Ichiro, Raikiri and MichaelaTheUchiha, and we've got a party! Anyway, I have one question. Are the balance powers abilities based on Sins, etc? It's a little confusing. (Well, probably. I confuse easily...)

I think I was a bit confusing.
Do you mean the balance controls...? It doesn't have to be a sin or a virtue... It can be like, hate.
If you mean powers, like telekinesis & whatnot, I'd like for it to tie in with your balance control and/or how you deal with balancing.
I'm gonna post what I have of one of my characters so you can kind of see what I mean?

I haven't abandoned it. I have a lot of work to do and besides, neither of my characters have anything to do at the moment. Mancer appears to have died so I will probably have to make Ghost do something in a bit. Matt is unconcious which is your fault. My behind the scenes character hasn't made a major appearance yet.

This RP is still bewilderingly over complicated to me. Not the story line, but I'm still trying to get to grips with the whole powers thing. I've been in a really random state of mind lately, so it's probably just me. Let me run through the story once more... hopefully it'll shine some light on the situation...

Here's just an example, just to make sure I'm understanding this.

Say, for example, a certain person in this universe revolved around the emotion of anger. The element of fire is often associated with anger due to its destructive and recklessness. So would it make sense for those two to interwine?

He can extend this ability over 1km if he concentrates but that costs a lot of energy and he has never kept it up for more than a minute. This ability comes at a cost though. James has to be peaceful for it to work. If he is stressed or angry then the ability vanishes until he is completely calm and peaceful again.
The aura is very difficult to fight against and James has never seen anyone fight it at all because of its effects. James expects that to fight his ability, it would have to force them to go against their very being. James will actively turn his ability off if he sees it hurting someone.
WEAPON: James carries no weapon due to his aversion to violence and will never purposely strike another living being whilst thinking rationally.
FIGHTING STYLE: James will never fight consciously against anyone, no matter what they have done to him. He will take any blow delivered to him straight on and then let his opponent go again. James has never learned to fight and cannot wield a weapon. He would rather talk than battle and this would have led to disagreements if James hadn't had his ability.

i think i know what you mean by balance, but mind dropping me a PM so i know for certain? anyhow, reserved for peace.
also, there's a date cut off for ORP. default is ~one month. if you change it to, say, "show all threads from the beginning" you would be able to see it.
