    I'm having some trouble...

I did a code to make a ditto to breed with, and I gave it the nature I wanted, but the everstone "trick" isn't working, has anyone else had this problem? The other pokemon is from a code too... but I don't think that's causing it.

    My codes

For this last week since I've bought Pokemon Pearl, I've been scouring the net for a pretty good set of codes. Now let me be frank, the codes that follow aren't going to be 'super pokemon' codes, or codes that change the ability of your pokemon. They're codes I used to take out the 'middle man' from getting from point A to point B, nothing that'd be impossible like maxing out all six stats or giving a Spiritomb Wonder Guard. I'm posting this thinking this will be a good generalization of useful codes.

    ~*~*~*~*~*

First off, I don't really use the codes from Code Junkies, as the item code only allows you to put on one item at a time and the walk through walls code is too risky for your game. I found the 1 Hit Kill code useful for EV training.

Second, considering the length of some of these codes, I'm going to walk through the process of adding codes through the PC. Now, in my case, I didn't copy and paste from Junkies, I made a Custom Codelist. Some people have trouble doing this but it's easy.. First, the Game Code for Pokemon Pearl is "APAE", and the game ID is "31d0afde". For Diamond it's "ADAE" and "636791c0". Then, you just copy and paste the codes.

This code does NOT give your the National Dex, only the first 151, you have to go to Professor Rowan after the first double battle with the professor's assistant. A scene including Professor Oak follows. Also, talk to Rowan once more afterwards to get the PokeRadar.

Press L and R to turn the first item in your Items Pocket into 493 Master Balls, then toss balls to turn the number of remaining Master Balls to the National Dex number of the pkmn you want. Then, in the grass or place you can find wild pkmn, hold L when you encounter a pkmn. In my game, the first pkmn usually isn't the pkmn the code pertains to, it's usually one that resides in that certain area or Arceus(again, in my game.) I find this code especially useful for EV training(for example, Machamps give you 3 Attack EVs). A downer for this code, in my opinion, is that the location where you caught the pkmn isn't where you'd normally get it(if someone has a code to change that, please, message me.)

Okay, for those XX's, you have to change it to a two digit hexadecimal code that is the same value of the level of pkmn you want to see. To find the value, I would google "Hexadecimal Convertor." I use "64" for level 100.

    Serious - 12066d98 0000240c (Neutral)
    Hardy - 12066d98 00002400 (Neutral)

Now, allow me to give some advice. First off, since now you have control over the nature you see, I would NOT choose one that lowers your defenses. Second, I would not use a Neutral nature, as it makes it impossible to max out stats.

OKAY.. so this is how it worked. Basically, I took the Max IV code, and altered it so the IV matches up with the appropriate type. Each line of the code represents a certain stat..

    HP
    Attack
    Defense
    Speed
    Special Attack
    Special Defense

And in the code, you get 31 IVs. For each type of Hidden Power, the lines that end with an E instead of a F, pertaining to the particular stat will have 30 IVs instead of 31. Also, I did not include the Dark type, because when you have Max IVs, your Hidden Power will be Dark. Also, Hidden Power's max strength is 70. With the whole Physical/Special rule in Pearl/Diamond, Hidden Power became less useful, but the Eevee evolutions use them well. (Jolteon w/ Hidden Power Ice/Grass/Water or Espeon w/ Hidden Power Fighting).

Now that you have max IVs, you want to max your EVs, right? This is the only code I'm putting down that's impossible to do without codes.

    120847f4 0000ffff

It lets you bypass the limit of 510 EVs.

Now the max EV codes.(which are possible, but without the bypass code, you can only max out 2 stats, which I do.)

    HP
    12084576 000046c0
    12084afc 000020ff

    Attack
    120845e2 000046c0
    12084b5c 000020ff

    Defense
    1208464e 000046c0
    12084bbc 000020ff

    Special Attack
    1208472a 000046c0
    12084c7c 000020ff

    Special Defense
    12084796 000046c0
    12084cdc 000020ff

    Speed
    120846bc 000046c0
    12084c1c 000020ff

With these codes, each vitamin you give to your pkmn is now worth 255 EVs in that stat instead of 10. In most EV cases, the usual formula is 252/252/6, but those 6 EVs only add a single point, which I don't find too important. Also, for EV novices, keep in mind, when you 'max' stats, it means the stat that your pokemon's nature rises, when given 252 EVs, maxes out. If someone has a code that gives 252 EVs instead of 255, please message me.

Then the shiny code that turns all the pkmn in your party and PC shiny.

    12068ac6 000046c0

Big difference, huh? I would use the wild pkmn shiny mod if you don't want all shiny pkmn. With copy and paste, the size difference in codes doesn't matter much.

    Next is Move Modifiers

First, you have to use this code.

    9206a1b6 0000d001
    1206a1b6 000046c0
    d2000000 00000000

It teaches any pokemon any TM/HM and required for this code to work. Next is the move mod..

    94000130 fdff0000
    b21c4d28 00000000
    b0000004 00000000
    94000130 feff0000
    00000890 01d3005d
    d0000000 00000000
    dc000000 00000892
    f20f84ec 00000002
    d2000000 00000000

After using this code, the first item in your item pocket turns to 467 Heart Scales. You must toss Heart Scales to make the remaining number of Heart Scales the same number of the particular attack you want to teach. Why you need the "Teach any TM/HM" code is because after using this code, you must hit "L" to turn the first TM in your TM pocket to the attack you wish to teach. If you used the 999 TM code, the first TM would probably be Focus Punch, and unless the pkmn can learn Focus Punch, you will not be able to teach your pkmn the attack with the TM.

    Finally, the poffin code.

This code turns the bottom poffin(which means you have to make poffins, but it can be any poffin) in your poffin case into a Lv. 99 Mild Poffin, which means any pkmn will eat it and they won't like or dislike it. You use 3 to max out the pkmn's stats.

    ~*~*~*~*~*~

OKAY.. That took a while. For the attack mod or to find out a pkmn's max stats, I use serebii.net and psypokes.com. I hope this helped! Now I have a favor to ask, does anyone know a code to give all the ribbons? I plan to win the ribbons myself, I just want to see them all now. x__x Thanks in advance, if someone manages to find it.

MatterMuncherMunchlax: If I were you, I'd splurge the 20 or 30 dollars on an Action Replay DS. It provides a lot more freedom. Mine was 19.95 at Wal-Mart.

Here, it is amazing what the search function can do. But let me ask you a question, only 44 of the 493 pokemon not catchable between D/P, why do you need this?

    --EXAMPLE--
    1. Press L+R at the inventory screen, then you'll get 493 Masterballs.
    2. Set Masterballs' quantity to the Pokemon number you want.
    3. Hold L and encounter Pokemon.
i.e. When you want Mew, discard 342 Masterballs. (493-342=151)

I have an AR max......will any of these codes work? My ar doesn't need the M code.......it'll recognized the game automatically if it's in the code database.

Oh, THIS is what you meant...

Nobody asked you to, so DON'T BOTHER. I already told you not to include the codes I post in anything of the sort, and I have no idea whether others would like that or not...

You mean the one with the GBA slot? No, none of these codes will work with it.

And...purunyosin...we already had most of those codes in this thread, so you re-posted them why?

  • Still hoping for a code to change the multiplayer avatar (Rich Boy, Schoolboy, etc) to something other than the four choices given. I want mine to be an Ace Trainer. >.<

    i have the 2nd one......

  • Ichida, here's the code you wanted.
This is the code for a male Ace Trainer:

    94000130 fcff0000
    b21c4d28 00000000
    b0000004 00000000
    200002eb 0000000b
    d2000000 00000000

I haven't used this code so if you could confirm it that would be great.

Can't believe I didn't see this back on page 22, XDD. It worked!! Hurraaaahhhh!!!~~ ^o^

Looking for code that boosts the number of steps you take, IE 1 step =255 steps and/or code that makes lead or all pokemon happiness maxed out.

Larger the text, more likely it will get attention

To save people the trouble of going through the pages. :) I've been googling everywhere, but really just wanted a one-stop place to get everything. Also, I didn't want to request a code without giving something of my own. ^^ Could reeeally use a ribbon code.

Um, haha...no, there's no such thing as #2, actually...there's only one kind of AR DS, and only one kind of AR MAX GBA/DS. If that's what you have, then it isn't a AR DS.

Well, it's really just using up space, and I didn't ask for anybody to put the codes I listed in a post (in fact, I distinctly remember saying NOT to), so...would you mind removing them...NOW?
