Do you think it's time to introduce more Eevee evolutions?

  • Sure YES
Eeveelutions are really great, and one for each type would be even better, but i think they will again (if they make more) introduce them like in gen 2 and 4, 2 each gen :(

I also wouldn't really mind too much if Eevee does or doesn't get another evolution. While I think the Eeveelutions are cool, and it'd be fun to see what new ones would be like design-wise, I think the bunch that we have at the moment is sufficient.

  • That sounds exciting and honestly, I think it's time we get more and more.

Here's the link of the fan drawn Eevees. I think they're brilliant. link
    Wow, those are brilliant! :D
My favourites from those links are the Bug and Dragon. Dragon is one I've always wanted though. It's not exactly like that in my imagination but I love Dragon type Pokémon and I'm sad that it's the only special type they haven't yet used. I would be satisfied with just Dragon though. :) I don't think Eevee needs to evolve into every type.

    Maybe um, fighting to tie off the dark/psychic connection but otherwise other Eeveelutions aren't really necessary at all. XD;

  • I really don't want any more eeveelutions..I like the 6 we have and what they represent (elements, day night) but I think adding the other types would definately be overkill of poor little eevee. I think they would have to change eevee to much in physical appearance to make some of them anyway (dragon, bug) so I doubt we would ever see them but who knows!

I'm with the other people in this thread that would like to see a new pokemon that has multiple evolutions :)

I'm sure it'll eventually happen. Either that or Nintendo will decide to make a new "Multi-Evo" line with types they haven't used yet like Fighting, Flying, and Rock or something like that.

  • The Eevee evolutions are more novelty than anything. I'm sure is the research and development team gets bored they'll create more (I'm almost positive that they will).

  • No.

The concept of Eevee can be summed up as:
An ordinary pet with no special abilities, gains full elemental powers upon exposure to a strong source of said element.

    So my argument is basically,
they have covered everything remotely "elemental",
any more would be overdoing it, inappropriate and done just for the sake of it.
"omg lets expose my mammalian pet to the Bug-rock, now it suddenly became a full insect!"
Theyve done all the stuff you shoot with fancy coloured beams, and a light and dark duo. Things like Poison or Rock are just out of place in this.

I say, give us a new pokemon to deal with the rest of the types.
One that is indeterminate at first, but evolves into pokemon resembling different kinds of species (an insect, a dragon, a ghost...)

    Or even more reasonable,
a humanoid pokemon with no specialisation that can fully turn into a "technique" type under certain conditions (Fighting, Dark, Psy..)

  • I don't think I'm totally on board with this... if you look at the new ones, they were kinda rushed and not as good as the Gen I and II ones. Also, if you make one for every type you have the whole problem of different evolution types. If you look at the Gen IV ones their evolutions were awkward. I just think they'd be even more awkward if you try to force too many evolutions onto 1 Pokemon.

  • No thanks.
Even if a ghost or dragon or whatever type would be completely epic, we don't need anymore. There's a lot of them already. Poor Eevee.

  • ...thinking about it, probably.

But it's really a matter of if they're going to start over again (like they did with Gen II -> Gen III) if they're gonna do another group of Eeveelutions.

So I think the next time, I wish they would introduce a Bug and a Fighting Eeveelution. But whatever they make, I'm sure it'll be cute <3 And I'll love it ^^

  • Ghost Eevee! You'll have to let Eevee die with a certain move at a certain level. Like Final Gambit? Then the Eevee dies and gets replaced with a new Pokemon, a Ghost-type Eevolution!
