FT ep.1 wasn't sucky. Nor was Gurren Lagann ep.1. Or Clannad ep.1. OR Soul Eater ep.1.

And PPGZ didn't have a bad first episode, if you ask me.

Not to mention I don't like watching anime as much as reading manga...

I'm not for the overrated shows either. :U But I don't think Nanoha is that overrated; first time I heard about it was in Dive.

Manga > Anime, I will agree with that. XD
