    No! It is impossible, even if the game has a dual screen system, to run an RMXP game on a DS.

    Um...no. You can modify an existing rom, but you cannot make one.

    That's the Rom Hacking section. You're posting in the Game Development section where people use engines such as RMXP, RM2K3, Gamemaker, etc. to develop games from scratch.

    Maybe. You would probably be better off making a thread and going into detail rather than asking such a vague question.

    I'm planning on possibly making a Game. But i need someone to provide links to all the programs i need. I pretty much needs EVERYTHING! editing sprites,trainers,stores,houses,text, etc etc. Thanks.

    Phew. Okay. Considering your age I'm not gonna recommend you to anything like Game Maker. Last time I checked directly linking to other websites was against the rules so I'm going to tell you to google RPG Maker XP by enterbrain. Once downloaded you'll have a free 30 day trial period. The Spriter's Resource is a useful website for graphics and if you're making a pokemon game, Poccil's pokeessentials, found on his website upokecenter.com is the place to go. tilesets and such can be found on deviant art and also here if you lurk around the pixel art section. this is the same for trainer sprites, ow's, and other graphic resources. you can google tutorials on rgss easily and lastly, rmxp costs 60 dollars after the trial expires, however, you can illegally use a keygen and get the program for free but you'll have to search for that yourself (assuming you will search for it)

    i think i have the correct place i need some help with a part of my game what i need to know is how to make a sign that uses the players custom name also i am going to have a pokemon that you start with and that you can name and then a script that allows the sign to use the custom pokemon name

    What you do is ask in the Essentials thread. That's a Pokémon thing.

    You can also look in the wiki and have a look at the paragraph detailing pbNoticePlayer.

    I've only played one or two other fangames, but I've noticed that they don't have move animations. Poccil's seems to only come with a few usable ones. Can someone tell me if it's possible to simply get the animations for the canon moves and import them without too much trouble?

    I've looked in many places, like toolbox and etc, but i can't find something to add new trainers to the advance series. I'm currently using a Sapphire rom and I have tried HackMew's VS A-Trainer, but when i add new trainers the pokemon names get messed up.

    Example: I add 5 new trainers and the first few pokemon, like bulbasaur, get renamed to the new trainer's name. Yes, i tried just renaming the pokemon, but it renames the trainer to that as well. Is there a solution or a different program?

    8 move instead of 4? Can you clarify what you mean by this, as I'm not sure what you mean?

    Oh, 8 attacks. I'm sure that can be done, but its a scripting issue (I'm too well versed so i can't help you on the specifics). It could be a simple change to do that withing the scripts, or it could call for a bit of work. Either way, a scriptor will probably need to help you for that.

    Does anyone know of a name entry script that you can just type in? As opposed to having to select a letter from a menu each time?
