6th Gen Gym Leaders and Elite Four

Hi guys while I was looking at the new corocoro leaks I spotted some well known characters.


I have spotted Watson,Norman,Flannery,Roxanne,


Sydney of the Elite 4 and also I think Phoebe.

Oh my, now that you pointed it out that actually could be Phoebe. :D I was really puzzled who the Froakie that person might be.

Phoebe seems to have gained a cow lick, at least it looks like that from what we can see.

Wattson looks to be wearing a yellow jumpsuit under that sweat shirt of his. Flannery's pants received minor changes, but overall, not much has changed on her design. Man I wish we had better scans to see Phoebe's redesign, unless she's unchanged like Bruno in HG/SS.

Yeah, I hope we get the rest soon. Currently Flannery has the most Bruno like redesign thus far...

I kinda hate Norman's design. He looks like a kendo teacher tbh. Not really the father figure you had in mind in RSE. Maybe because they are going with the Japanese theme again?

Wow Brawly actually looks really awesome now! He definitely looks more like a Fighting-type specialist now. Haven't seen the new looks for Phoebe, Norman, Flannery and Wattson yet but I think scans will emerge soon.

Yeah, they've really impressed me with the redesigns of Roxanne and Brawly! From what I can see too, Flannery also looks pretty cute.

Sidney looks rather intimidating, which is a good thing since it reflects his typing very well.

As for phoebe, her signature is a Dusknoir. I guess that confirms "expanded Hoenn dex" to mean inclusive of alterations such as Roserade etc.

He always struck me as a Samurai. Btw not all Fathers are super warm and loving, some have fathers who still follow the samurai stoic style of interaction with their kids...Norman seems to be based off that.

No such thing as leniency when battling as a gym leader haha.

I hope all the Elite Four members still have 5 Pokémon each with varied increasing levels, now that Phoebe has Dusknoir it's easily changable. Saying that though, I doubt they would shun any of Sidney's 5 Hoenn Pokémon with them all being from the Hoenn Region buuuuuuut idk.

Now that we've finally got clear images of the gym leaders and Elite 4 members, Flannery and Phoebe are left almost unchanged, and everyone else have updated outfits. I now a friend of mine who will be extremely happy about Flannery and Phoebe. To make things better, Dusknoir is now Phoebe's ace Pokémon, which means the Hoenn dex IS getting an expansion (what a relief).

I think he fills both too. He wants his child to be the strongest, one can't show warmth when trying to battle harden their child, until after they defeat you that is.

I'm glad that the first 5 gym leaders have the aces we all thought of as their aces. Now we only need Winona, the Twins, and Wallace (maybe Juan, but I'm expecting Wallace) from the gym leaders. Glacia and Drake from the E4. I think Glacia and Drake are shown in this issue as one can see something right of Phoebe which is probably one of them and the other is likely farther in the page. Edit: Wait, never mind this part, the thing is Roxanne's skirt. So are Glacia and Drake missing? or is there still another page(s)?


If Winona, Liza, Tate, and Wallace aren't shown in this issue I expect them to be in the next, maybe with them showing off Mega Milotic for Wallace's ace.

Also, isn't that a mega bracelet on Sidney's wrist? And someone spotted Phoebe's key stone on her ankle but I don't see it. But if they do I can see Sidney using Absol, Phoebe using Banette, Glacia getting Abomasnow, and Drake possibly getting Garchomp? I mean, they don't necessarily have to create new megas for the E4 to have them, they also don't have to be their main Pokemon either. It'd be hella nice though to have mega Shiftry, Dusknoir, WALREIN, and Salamence though.

And also it seems they're using their RS teams? Wattson has his Magneton as his main... lame, tbh. Their Emerald teams were far more interesting and diverse... well as diverse as mono teams can be.

Well 3/5 Elite Four have potential Mega Evolution Pokémon, that just leaves Glacia and Drake with the potential to have Mega Glalie, Walrein, Flygon, Salamence or Altaria. I think Sidney will have Mega Absol, Phoebe Mega Sableye/Banette and obviously Steven with Mega Metagross.

Great, now I'm worried about Norman's team after reminding of Wattson's Magneton, because in the original games, it's only a team of the Slaking line with no other normal types despite the presence of Linoone, Spinda, and Exploud.

Wattson and Norman may still have their Emerald teams even though Wattson has Magneton as his ace (well it is his most consistent Pokemon, appearing in his PWT team too and in the original RS) instead of Manectric. There's still hope.

Also that bracelet Sydney has may be a plain normal one. I don't see the Double Helix on it.

After a lot of zooming, I see a very faint DNA-like helix on a ball nestled on his bracelet.
